That year he released "Solamente Tú", the lead single from his 2011 self-titled debut album. The track topped the charts in his home country for two consecutive weeks. The album peaked at number one in its first week of sales, making Alborán the first solo artist to sign a complete debut album to rank to the top since 1998 in Spain. Alborán was nominated for Best New Artist at the 12th Latin Grammy Awards.

Felix Gerardo Ortiz Torres and Gabriel Pizarro, known by their stage name Zion & Lennox, are Puerto Rican reggaeton singers, rappers and songwriters. Both artists were born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, were the duo was originated in 2000. They were part of the reggaeton underground scene until 2004, year in which they released their first studio album, Motivando a la Yal, under White Lion Records. The production's success was later influenced by Daddy Yankee's Barrio Fino, which led reggaeton to mainstream audiences. Also the track "Ahora" featuring Angel Doze was included into the video game FIFA Football 2005 soundtrack.
Morat is a Colombian band formed in the country's capital city, Bogotá. The band is formed by Juan Pablo Isaza, Juan Pablo Villamil and the brothers Simón Vargas and Martín Vargas. Previously, until the end of 2016, drummer Alejandro Posada had been in the band. However, the percussionist had to leave the project, being subsequently replaced by Martín Vargas.

The track, written by Ozuna alongside its respective producers, became a top ten hit in Spain, Colombia, Argentina and other selected European and countries in Latin America. In the United States, the track peaked at the 76th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while reaching the top ten on the Global 200. Ozuna united with Colombian singer Karol G as well as with Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers for a remixed version of the song, released in August of the same year.
