Biography

The group was formed in 2002 in the Church Ministério Apascentar. [1] [2] [3] In 2003 they released the album entitled Restitution, which sold over a million copies, [4] becoming the fourth CD of gospel music's best-selling Brazil. They sold about five million albums, participated in the Talent Trophy between 2005 and 2009. [5] They released twelve albums, and four records on DVD. In 2007, the group split from the Church and the group's initial name "Toque no Altar" was variously called the current name. [6] In September 2007 released an album recorded live in Japan, [7] in 2008, recorded a DVD in Rio de Janeiro, and all food collected by the group were sent to poor municipalities in the state of Minas Gerais. [8]

In 2011 they recorded their first DVD in the United States at Orlando, Florida, and was attended by three thousand people. [9]

Exaltasamba is a Brazilian pagode music group, formed in 1982 in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo. The group began simply playing gigs in restaurants and bars. They later began writing their own songs, eventually releasing an album, "Eterno Amanhecer" in 1992. However, it wasn't until 1996 that they truly became successful, with their 1996 and 1997 albums, "Luz do Desejo and "Desliga e Vem" each going Double Platinum. They released a Live Album with songs handpicked by their fans via E-Mail. In 2003, one of their best known Vocalists, Thiaguinho, joined the group. They continued to release albums. Janires Magalhães Manso or Janires, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, music producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career in the late 1970s, and is best known as the person responsible for the modernization of Christian music that occurred in the 1980s. Born into a poor family and the son of a single mother, he spent part of his youth in strong contact with music, and later began to use drugs. After being arrested and spending some time in a halfway house, he became a Christian and returned to his musical activities.
