Maja Trojan or Trojan (Albanian : Maja Trojan or Trojan, Serbian/Montenegrin: Trojan) is a mountain in the Accursed Mountains range on the border of Albania and Montenegro. Situated 7 km west of the village Gusinje, its elevation is 2,194 metres (7,198 ft). [1] From the summit of Trojan there is a wonderful panoramic view of the Accursed Mountains and other ranges in the Dinaric Alps such as Visitor.

The Accursed Mountains also known as the Albanian Alps are a mountain group in the western part of the Balkans. It is the southernmost subrange of the 1,000-kilometre-long (621 mi) Dinaric Alps range (Dinarides), extending from northern Albania to south Kosovo and northeastern Montenegro. Maja Jezercë standing at 2,694 m (8,839 ft) is the highest point of the Accursed Mountains and of all Dinaric Alps, and the fifth highest peak in Albania. The highest peak in Montenegro, Zla Kolata at 2,534 m (8,314 ft) and the second-highest in Kosovo, Gjeravica at 2,656 m (8,714 ft) are also part of the range.

Shkëlzen

Shkëlzen is a mountain in Albania with a height of 2,404 metres (7,887 ft). It is rocky and located near the border with Kosovo, north of Tropojë. It belongs to the Accursed Mountains range. Shkëlzen shares its name with a village that is just south of the mountain.

Maja e Popljuces

Maja e Popljuces is a mountain in Albania in the Accursed Mountains range. It is 2,569 m (8,428 ft) high and it itself is surrounded by many peaks above 2,500 m (8,200 ft). It is located just south of Maja Jezercë.

Maja e Malësores

Maja e Malësores is an impressive mountain in the country of Albania. At 2,490 m (8,169 ft) elevation, it is located in the central main part of the Accursed Mountains range, 1.5 km northwest of Maja Jezercë. Like Maja e Popljuces, it is also surrounded by many high peaks which are all located in Albania. Deep river canyons and beautiful valleys surround the mountain.

Maja Briaset

Maja Briaset is a 2,567 m (8,422 ft) tall mountain located in the country of Albania. It is part of the Accursed Mountains range in the northern part of Albania. One of the surrounding valleys is Valbona Valley.

Maja e Shënikut

Maja e Shënikut is a mountain with a height of 2,552 m (8,373 ft) in northern Albania, part of the Accursed Mountains range. It is just one of the many mountains of the Accursed Mountains range in Albania higher than 2,500 m (8,202 ft). It is situated northwest of Maja Jezercë, the highest mountain of the Accursed Mountains, and east of the village Nikç.

Rosni Peak

Rosni Peak is the highest peak of the Bjelić mountain, which is part of the Accursed Mountains range and located on the Montenegrin–Albanian border. It is 2,524 m high, making it the third highest mountain peak in Montenegro.

Maja e Ragamit

Maja e Ragamit is a mountain in the Accursed Mountains range in Albania. Reaching 2,472m elevation, it is located 2 km east of Maja Jezercë, the highest point of the range and the Dinaric Alps.

Maja Vukoces is a mountain in northern Albania in the Accursed Mountains range with a height of 2,450m. It lies close to the border with Montenegro, about 7 km southwest of the village Vusanje. Like others in the range, it too has a steep, rocky summit. It is even more difficult to climb it at winter when the snow and ice make the route to the peak and summit impossible to reach.

Maja e Kakisë Mountain in Albania

Maja e Kakisë a mountain in the north of Albania. Maja e Kakisë is 2,357m high. It is located in the south of the large Accursed Mountains range not far from the smaller Maja e Ershellit which is found even more towards the south bordering the long Drin River.

Maja e Elbunit is a mountain in Albania, located in the Accursed Mountains range. It reaches a height of 2,231m high and is in the Shalë area near the centre of the range.

Maja Bojs

Maja Bojs is a 2,461-metre-tall (8,074 ft) mountain near the center of the Accursed Mountains range in northern Albania near the border with Montenegro. It is just above the Buni Jezerce valley where Big lake of Buni Jezerce is located with five other lakes.

Dog Peak is a mountain peak found in the border between Kosovo and Montenegro. It is 2,405 m (7,890 ft) high and is part of the Accursed Mountains range. This peak is one of the highest of the Bogićevica mountain area. One of Dog Peaks neighbours is Marijaš at 2,533 m (8,310 ft) being the highest peak of Bogićevica.

Maja Bogiçaj

Maja Bogiçaj is a peak of the Accursed Mountains range. It is located on the border of Kosovo and Albania. Bogiçaj is part of the Bogićevica mountain area and its peak is 2,405 m (7,890 ft) above sea level. One of the closest peaks is Tromeđa which is just found north-west of Bogiçaj peak.

Maja Reshkullit

Maja Reshkullit is a mountain in Albania, about 4.5 km southeast of the village Nikç. Maja Reshkullit is part of the Radohima massif of the Accursed Mountains range. It is 2,496 m (8,189 ft) high.

Maja Zabel is a mountain peak in the Accursed Mountains range in northern Albania and south-eastern Montenegro. Maja Zabel is 2,006 m (6,581 ft) high.

Maja Visens Mountain in Albania

Maja Visens is a mountain in northern Albania in the Accursed Mountains range. It is about 6 km southeast from the village-Nikç. Maja Visens is located in the Radohimës Mountain area in the west range. Maja Visens is the third highest peak among these mountains and is 2,517 m (8,258 ft) high.

Maja Stogut

Maja Stogut is a sharp mountain in the crest of the Accursed Mountains range in Albania in the south of the Dinaric Alps, about 4.5 km southeast of the village Nikç. Maja Stogut is known in the area for its high limestone pillar which rises to 2,246m above mean sea level.

Maja Harapit

Maja Harapit is a mountain in the Accursed Mountains range in the north of Albania. The mountain is 2,217 metres (7,274 ft) high, with an 800 metres (2,600 ft) high south wall the northwestern edge of a large basin, where it dominates as a prominent rock formation, the conclusion of the Shala Valley and is one of the landmarks of Theth Valley. The mountain is on the edge of the National Parks Theth.
