Tron (sometimes spelled Tronden, Tronfjell, or Trondfjell) [2] is a prominent mountain in Innlandet county, Norway. The 1,665-metre (5,463 ft) tall mountain lies on the border of Alvdal and Tynset municipalities, but the peak lies entirely in Alvdal. The mountain lies just to the northeast of the village of Alvdal and just northwest of the village of Tylldalen. [3]
There is a toll road to the summit that is open in the summers. The road was built while installing a broadcasting antenna in the 1960s, being Norway's second highest road. [1]
The Indian philosopher Swami Sri Ananda Acharya (1883-1945) lived on the mountain for large periods of his life. [3]
The name Tron is the finite form of the word trond (Old Norse : þróndr) which means 'hog' (it is common in Norway to compare the shape of a mountain with an animal). [3] [4]

Blånibba or Gjegnet or Uksen is the highest mountain in the municipality of Bremanger in Vestland county, Norway. The 1,670-metre-tall (5,480 ft) mountain has a topographic prominence of 1,460 metres (4,790 ft), the fifth-highest prominence in Norway. The glacier Gjegnalundsbreen lies directly to the east of the mountain. The mountain is about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southeast of the village of Ålfoten in Bremanger and about 22 kilometres (14 mi) northwest of the village of Sandane in neighboring Gloppen municipality.

Malnesberget is a 529-meter (1,736 ft) mountain in the municipality of Bø in Nordland county, Norway. The mountain stands on the western side of the large island of Langøya, along the Malnesfjorden, just south of the villages of Hovden and Malnes. It can be climbed from the village of Malnes starting about 500 meters (1,600 ft) north of Tussen, a smaller hill located along Norwegian County Road 915, just west of Malnesberget.
