Tuonela Productions Ltd. is a game development and publishing company from Oulu, Northern Finland. Tuonela was founded in 2006. Tuonela produces both board games and digital games. They also distribute some other publishers' board games.
Oulu is a city and municipality of 203,750 inhabitants in the region of North Ostrobothnia, Finland. It is the most populous city in Northern Finland and the fifth most populous city in the country. Tuonela was the first Finnish company to get their board game (The Club, 2008) distributed outside Europe. Tuonela's games ”The Club” (Published in 2008) and ”Modern Society” (2009) are distributed by Fred Distribution in the US, UK and Asia. In 2008 ”The Club” received noticeable attention in Finnish media since it was the most widely distributed Finnish board game at the time.
The Company's CEO Jussi Autio is also their main game designer. He has designed both ”The Club” and ”Modern Society”. He is also a candidate in the Finnish Parliament Election 2011.

Continuo is an abstract strategy game by Maureen Hiron first published in 1982 and now distributed in board game form by David Westnedge Ltd. It is played by arranging patterns printed on a deck of 42 cards, each card being printed with a grid of 16 colored squares. The goal is to place cards so that the tiles match as many chains of color as possible. Continuo won a 1995 Mensa Select games award. The tag line on the box is "The one rule game for all the family".
Blacksburg Tactical Research Center is an American game publishing company best known for the TimeLords, Macho Women with Guns, and EABA role-playing games. They have produced a variety of role-playing games, card games, and board games. Since 2003, they have published exclusively in PDF format.

Tampere Tigers is a baseball and softball club from Tampere, Finland. They are the current Champions of Suomi Sarja, Finnish Baseball First Division. The club competes in the two competitive Finnish Baseball Leagues. Tampere Tigers were founded in 2004 by Arni Hukari and Lassi Autio. The Tigers have also a farm team called Tampere Industriales which at the moment participates in exhibition tournaments.
Uwe Rosenberg is a German game designer and the co-founder of Lookout Games. He initially became known for his card game Bohnanza, which was successful both in Germany and internationally. He also designed Agricola, a genre-changing game that dethroned Puerto Rico as the highest rated game on BoardGameGeek.com in September 2008 and stayed at the top of the rankings until March 2010.
Markku Tapani Pölönen is a Finnish film director, screenwriter, editor and owner of film production company Suomen Filmiteollisuus. Pölönen's best known work is the 2004 film Dog Nail Clipper — directed and written by Pölönen — which was honoured with five awards at the 2005 Jussi Awards including Best Direction and Best Script and which film critic Jay Weissberg from Variety called Pölönen's "most mature work to date". Pölönen has been awarded numerous additional Jussi awards, including best picture and best screenplay for Onnen Maa (1994); best picture and best director for Kivenpyörittäjän kylä (1995); and best picture, best director, and best screenplay for A Summer by the River (1999), plus many more Jussi awards for actors in Pölönen's films. Pölönen has further been nominated for at least two other Jussis that he did not win.

Star Wars: X-Wing is a miniature war game designed by Jay Little and produced by Fantasy Flight Games that was released at Gen Con in 2012. It features tactical ship-to-ship dogfighting between various types of starfighters set in the fictional Star Wars universe. The game is said to be easy to learn and quick to play taking anywhere between 15 and 60 minutes from first set-up to battle's end. Each round both players give all their ships movement orders without knowing what their opponent is doing before resolving these orders while trying to shoot down enemy craft. On May 1, 2018 FFG announced X-Wing Second Edition, to be released on September 13, 2018. Although the physical models would be transferable, an entire new set of rules, templates, and markers will be produced and available through a new core set, waves, and conversion packs.
