Tymawa [tɨˈmava] (German : Thymau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Grunwald, within Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Gierzwałd (the gmina seat), 29 km (18 mi) south-east of Ostróda, and 37 km (23 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
