Coca Carola is a Swedish punk band formed in Åkersberga in 1986. Signed to the Swedish record label Beat Butchers, they were active and recognized in the Swedish punk scene during the years 1986–2004. In 2023, after a long hiatus, the band has begun to tour again.
The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The basic premise is that each participating musician performs their own version of a well-known song by another artist, with each episode focusing on every participant performing a different song by the same artist. Sannex is a dansband from Sweden. The band was formed as a school project in 1977. In the mid-1980s, it was a six-man band, which invested in a professional career. In 1987, Sannex became the backing band for Ann-Louise Hanson, and in November 1987 became a full-time dance band, after working with Ann-Louise for five weeks at Restaurant Cabaret in Stockholm. They participated in Dansbandskampen in 2009.
Freda' is a pop group from Gnosjö in Sweden, formed in 1983, dissolved in 1993 and revived in 2009. The group chose its name to commemorate the Friday on which it won a rock band competition. Its breakthrough hit was the song "Vindarna", released in 1986; it won Grammis Awards in 1988 and 1990.
