Unpretty Rapstar 2 (Korean : 언프리티 랩스타 2) is a 2015 South Korean music competition program focusing on female rappers. It is the second season of Unpretty Rapstar , which premiered in January 2015 on Mnet and was hosted by Korean rapper San E. It is a spin-off of Show Me the Money .

Jung Il-hoon

Jung Il-hoon, simply known as Ilhoon, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He was the main rapper of the South Korean boy band BtoB. Shin Ji-min South Korean singer

Shin Ji-min, better known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean former rapper and singer. She was the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA, which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of Unpretty Rapstar. During the show, she released several successful collaboration singles, most notably "Good Start" and "Puss". Following allegations of bullying by former bandmate Kwon Mina, Jimin left the group and retired from the entertainment industry in July 2020.

The show, a spin-off of Show Me the Money, premiered in January 2015 on Mnet and was hosted by Korean rapper San E. In August 2015, it was confirmed that the show would begin airing its second season on September 11, 2015. The winner in Season 1 was Cheetah.

Cheetah (rapper) South Korean rapper

Kim Eun-young, known by her stage name Cheetah (치타), is a South Korean rapper. Cheetah rose to fame as the winner on the TV competition Unpretty Rapstar. She debuted in 2010 with the song "Stop " as a part of the duo Blacklist and was signed under C9 Entertainment. In April 2020, she left C9 Entertainment, which she belonged to from her debut, and founded the one-person agency, Ceuda Entertainment.

The fourth season of Show Me the Money (SMTM) premiered on June 26, 2015, airing every Friday evening on Mnet, and ended with its last episode aired on August 28, 2015.

<i>Produce 101</i> (season 1) Girl group survival reality show

Produce 101 was a 2016 girl group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the first season of the South Korean version of the franchise. It was a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a unit girl group by choosing members from a pool of 101 trainees from 46 entertainment companies as well as the group's concept, debut song, and group name. Produced by CJ ENM and Signal Entertainment Group for Mnet, the show had the second-largest budget of all shows broadcast by the latter at about four billion won.

Lee Joo-heon, better known by the stage name Joohoney is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. He is a member of South Korean boy group Monsta X, which was formed through Mnet's survival show No.Mercy in 2015.

Yezi South Korean singer

Lee Ye-ji, better known by her stage name Yezi, is a South Korean rapper and singer. She debuted as a member of South Korean girl group Fiestar in 2012. Yezi was a semi-finalist on Unpretty Rapstar 2 in 2015, during which she released several singles. Her debut solo maxi single, Foresight Dream, was released on January 28, 2016.

Unpretty Rapstar 3 is a 2016 South Korean music competition program focusing on female rappers. It is the third season of Unpretty Rapstar, which premiered in January 2015 on Mnet as a spin-off of Show Me the Money. The show was hosted by rapper and producer YDG, and the winner of it was Giant Pink.

Ki Hui-hyeon, better known by the mononym Huihyeon and former stage name Cathy, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group DIA.

<i>Produce 101</i> (season 2) Boy group survival reality show

Produce 101 Season 2 was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One. More than 16 million people cast their votes during the finale, equivalent to around 30% of South Korea's population.

Shin Jae-ho, better known by his stage name Microdot (Korean: 마이크로닷), is a Korean–New Zealand rapper and singer. He debuted as a member of duo All Black, with Dok2, in 2006. He has also appeared on Show Me the Money, Unpretty Rapstar, and Tribe of Hip Hop.

<i>Stray Kids</i> (TV series) Korean television program

Stray Kids is a 2017 reality show created by JYP Entertainment and Mnet. It is a male idol debut project with the concept of winning the "trainees versus JYP" survival. It was broadcast on Mnet from October 17 to December 19, 2017, on Tuesdays at 23:00 (KST) timeslot for ten episodes.

Lee Se-rin, known by the stage name Kasper, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and YouTuber. She is best known as a contestant of Show Me the Money 4, Unpretty Rapstar 2, and as a former member of co-ed hip-hop group Play the Siren. She debuted as a solo artist with her debut single, "Lean on Me", in January 2017.

Produce X 101 is a 2019 South Korean boy group survival reality show on Mnet and the fourth season of the Produce 101 franchise. The public, referred to as "national producers", "produces" a boy band by choosing 11 members among the 101 trainees from 47 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public will also choose the group's concept, debut song, and group name. The show aired from May 3 to July 19, 2019. The group from this show was named X1, but after extensive voter manipulation was proven, the group was disbanded on January 6th 2020.

Kwon Eun-bin South Korean singer, rapper and actress

Kwon Eun-bin, known simply as Eunbin, is a South Korean idol and actress. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group CLC in February 2016. Kwon Eun-bin, was added to the group with the release of their third EP Refresh on February 29, 2016. She made her acting debut in 2018 in a supporting role in the MBC drama, Bad Papa. She is to appear in the upcoming KBS2 drama series, Dear. M and At A Distance Spring Is Green in 2021.
