Urbanrisers Hyderabad is one of the cricket team that competes in the Legends League Cricket in India. [1] Franchise was founded in 2023 and is owned by the Urbanrise & Pavan Reddy JC. [2] Team led by current captain Suresh Raina [3] [4] and head coach is Nikhil Chopra. [5]

In the very first season of 2023, they performed brilliantly and made it to the finals and was the runner-up. [6]

Suresh Raina is an Indian former international cricketer. He occasionally served as stand-in captain for Indian men's national cricket team as well as in IPL for Chennai Super Kings during the absence of the main captain. He played for Uttar Pradesh (UP) in domestic cricket circuit. He is an aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler. He is the second-youngest player ever to captain India. He was the captain of Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and he also served as vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings. The 2013 Indian Premier League season was the sixth season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament featured nine teams and was held from 3 April to 26 May 2013. The opening ceremony was held at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on 2 April 2013. This was the first season with PepsiCo as the title sponsor. The Kolkata Knight Riders were the defending champions, having won the 2012 season.
