State Route 237 (SR-237) was a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. From 1969 to 2007, it ran from Utah State University in Logan to U.S. Route 91 (US-91) in Hyde Park.
SR-237 began on the campus of Utah State University in Logan, at the intersection of 700 North and 800 East (Lars Hansen Drive). The route ran north along the western side of the campus, intersecting SR-288 at 1000 North and passing by Romney Stadium (now Maverik Stadium). After an intersection with SR-239 at 1400 North, the route exited the university campus and entered the city of North Logan.
The route followed 800 East throughout North Logan, mostly serving agricultural and residential areas. After approximately 1.84 miles (2.96 km), the route entered Hyde Park as 250 East. It turned west on 200 South and then north on Main Street in order to serve the central intersection of Hyde Park, before making a final turn west on Center Street. The street name briefly changed to Hyde Park Lane before the route ended at US-91. [2]
When SR-237 was created in 1969, it followed much of its final alignment except at the south end. The original southern terminus of SR-237 was at 400 North (US-89); from there, the route ran north on 600 East and east on 1000 North before continuing its later alignment north on 800 East. However, the portion on 600 East and 1000 North was seen as more characteristic of a city street than a state highway, and it was deleted in a 1981 mileage swap in exchange for the creation of SR-239 along 1400 North. This left the south end of SR-237 at 800 East and 1000 North in Logan. It was extended south in 1991 to 700 North, absorbing a portion of SR-288.
In 2007, the Utah Transportation Commission designated SR-252 along 1000 West and 2500 North, which would be a western bypass to alleviate traffic along US-91 through downtown Logan. In exchange for the creation of this route, a number of state routes in the Logan area were removed from the state highway system, including SR-237. The old routing is now inventoried as Federal Aid Route 1267. [1] [3]

Interstate 15 (I-15) is a major Interstate Highway in the Western United States, running through Southern California and the Intermountain West. I-15 begins near the Mexican border in San Diego County and stretches north to Alberta, Canada, passing through the states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and Montana. The Interstate serves the cities of San Diego, San Bernardino, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls, and Great Falls. It also passes close to the urban areas of Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties, California. The stretches of I-15 in Idaho, Utah, and Arizona have been designated as the "Veterans Memorial Highway". The southern end is at a junction with I-8 and State Route 15 (SR 15) in San Diego, and the northern end is at a connection with Alberta Highway 4 at the Sweetgrass–Coutts Border Crossing.
U.S. Route 91 or U.S. Highway 91 is a 172.7-mile-long (277.9 km) north–south United States highway running from Brigham City, Utah, to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in the U.S. states of Idaho and Utah. Despite the "1" as the last digit in the number, US 91 is no longer a cross-country artery, as it has mostly been replaced by Interstate 15. The highway currently serves to connect the communities of the Cache Valley to I-15 and beyond. Prior to the mid-1970s, US 91 was an international commerce route from Long Beach, California, to the Canada–US border north of Sweetgrass, Montana. US 91 was routed on the main streets of most of the communities it served, including Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas and State Street in Salt Lake City. From Los Angeles to Salt Lake, the route was built along the corridor of the Arrowhead Trail. A portion of the highway's former route in California is currently State Route 91.
State Route 68 (SR-68) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It is a major thoroughfare throughout the Wasatch Front as it runs north–south for 70.8 miles (113.9 km), linking US-6 near Elberta to US-89 in Woods Cross. The route intersects several major freeways and highways in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area including I-215, I-80, and I-15. The route is more commonly referred to as Redwood Road, after the street it is routed along throughout Salt Lake County. The highway is also routed for a short distance along 500 South and 200 West in Bountiful and Camp Williams Road in Utah County. The route is a surface street for its entire length.
State Route 186 (SR-186) is a state highway entirely within Salt Lake City, capital of the U.S. state of Utah. It forms a quarter-beltway connecting US-89 and I-15 leading north from Salt Lake City to I-80 leading east; as such, it effectively forms the missing (non-freeway) quarter of the I-215 belt route around the city, though it does not directly connect to I-215 at the north end. Despite this beltway role, the route passes through downtown Salt Lake City because downtown is built right up to the northern mountains surrounding City Creek Canyon. The portion of the route connecting downtown to I-80 is a high-capacity street heavily used by commuters, especially those travelling to the University of Utah or between downtown and eastern neighborhoods, but the portion on Capitol Hill north of downtown is much narrower and has sharp turns around the Capitol grounds. The roadway runs 9.34 miles (15.03 km) along Victory Road, Columbus Street, 300 North, State Street, 400 South, 500 South, and Foothill Drive.
State Route 8 (SR-8) is a short east-west state highway in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Utah, running entirely within the west side of the city of St. George. The route connects SR-18 to Dixie Downs Road via Sunset Boulevard in a span of 1.3 miles (2.09 km). Prior to 1999, SR-8 extended north to Snow Canyon State Park. However, the route was truncated to its current point that year.
State Route 106 (SR-106) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, running northerly from Bountiful to Farmington. Most of the road is the old route of US-89/US-91, and once extended further along that old alignment in each direction.
State Route 13 (SR-13) is a state highway in northern Utah, running 32.841 miles (52.852 km) parallel to I-15 in Box Elder County from Brigham City to Riverside. Most of SR-13 is a former routing of U.S. Route 191.
U.S. Route 89 in the U.S. state of Utah is a north-south United States Highway spanning more than 502 miles (807.891 km) through the central part of the state, making it the longest road in Utah. Between Provo and Brigham City, US-89 serves as a local road, paralleling Interstate 15, but the portions from Arizona north to Provo and Brigham City northeast to Wyoming serve separate corridors. The former provides access to several national parks and Arizona, and the latter connects I-15 with Logan, the state's only Metropolitan Statistical Area not on the Interstate.
State Route 252 (SR-252) is a state highway that runs more than six miles in Cache County in the northern Utah city of Logan. The route goes from its southern terminus of US-89/US-91 and heads on a northerly path through the west side of Logan. The route's northern terminus is at US-91.
State Route 52 (SR-52) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, connecting I-15 with US-189 along Orem's 800 North.
State Route 181 (SR-181) was a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah connecting SR-152 in Murray and Holladay north to SR-186 in Salt Lake City at its peak, the former being suburbs of the latter. The route was 6.9 miles (11.10 km) for thirty-eight years before being truncated in 2007 and decommissioned entirely later in the same year.
State Route 103 (SR-103) is a 0.225-mile-long (362 m) urban minor arterial state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It branches off from SR-126 in downtown Clearfield and extends east to Interstate 15 (I-15), with the roadway continuing to the Falcon Hill National Aerospace Research Park, just outside Hill Air Force Base. The entire route is located in Davis County and was formed in 1965 coinciding with the construction of I-15.
State Route 101 (SR-101) is a 21.811-mile (35.101 km) long state highway located in the U.S. state of Utah. The route serves as a spur route into the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest through the cities of Wellsville and Hyrum, with an intermediate intersection with U.S. Route 89 (US-89) and US-91. SR-101 starts at an intersection of Main Street and SR-23 in Wellsville. Heading generally eastward, the highway terminates at the Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area. SR-101 was first designated in 1931 as a loop off SR-1 from Logan, south to Hyrum, and west to Wellsville.
State Route 114 (SR-114) is a state highway in the US state of Utah that spans 10.79 miles (17.36 km) in Utah County. The route forms a loop around US-89 and roughly parallels the coast of Utah Lake as it passes through the west side of Provo, Lindon and Orem, eventually terminating in Pleasant Grove. The highway consists of a portion of Center Street and all of Geneva Road. The highway was formed in 1931, the southern terminus initially extending into the east side of Provo. In 1965, the route was truncated to its present state.
Utah State Route 156 (SR-156) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning just 1.38 miles (2.22 km), it connects the city of Spanish Fork, via Main Street, with Interstate 15 on the north side of town.
State Route 165 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning 10.7 miles (17.2 km) in Cache County, it connects the towns of Paradise, Hyrum, and Nibley with the city of Logan to the north.
State Route 212 (SR-212) was a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning just 1.28 miles (2.06 km), it served as a minor arterial road connecting Interstate 15 (I-15) with the city of Washington.
