Masters of Reality is an American rock band formed in 1981 by frontman Chris Goss and guitarist Tim Harrington in Syracuse, New York, United States. They took the name for the band from a misprinted label of the third Black Sabbath album, Master of Reality. Goss has remained the only constant band member.

আবার (Again) is the third studio album by Bangladeshi rock band Black, released on July 10, 2008. After a full five-year hiatus the band released the album under the sponsorship of Warid Telecom. A gala was held for the album's release at Dhaka's Bashundhara City shopping mall, with the band performing various songs from the album with collaborations from other notable artists. The album was said to have sold 5,000 copies three hours after launch and is considered to be Black's most critically acclaimed album and a landmark record for the rock music scene of Bangladesh.
Onno Shomoy is the debut album by the Bangladeshi progressive metal band, Artcell, released in 2002 under G-Series. This album was highly appreciated by metal listeners. This album was one of the first to introduce and develop progressive metal music in Bangladesh. Their sound and compositions differed from other Bangla rock music during that time consisting of fingerstyle guitar intros, unique drum fills with the use of hi-hats and double bass and bass guitar tapping. Their playing style and sound got developed in their upcoming albums as time went on.

Black is the fourth studio album by Bangladeshi rock band Black. In 2009 Black announced on their official Facebook page that they had started to work on their fourth studio album and it would be a self-titled album. Work on the album properly started after Rafiqul Ahsan Titu (ex-Aashor) joined the band as the permanent bass player after Shahriar Shagor left the band. Black stated, they had plans to release the album on the Eid-ul-Azha of 2010, but due to other commitments of the band members and tight scheduling they were unable to succeed. After a few more changes of speculated release dates the band finally announced the official release date, August 21, 2011. According to the band, the album contains the heaviest possible music they have yet made. The first single off the album was "Aajo...", its music video premiered at YouTube in September 2011.

The most prominent era for heavy metal movement was between the early 1990s to early 2000s. Warfaze, Rockstrata, Aces and in Dhaka are often considered as the "big four founders of heavy metal". Other 2000s metal bands are bands like Artcell, Aurthohin, Cryptic Fate, Powersurge, Mechanix, Metal Maze, Vibe and Stentorian. Alternative bands like Nemesis, Arbovirus and Black also played some alternative metal songs over the years. Warfaze, Artcell and Aurthohin together are the most popular rock/metal trio of Bangladesh.
"Oniket Prantor" is the second album released by the Bangladeshi metal band Artcell. It was released on 1 April 2006, 4 years after the release of their first album, Onno Shomoy. The album has continued to soar in popularity with songs that became cult classics such as ‘Smriti Sharok’, ‘Shohid Sharoni’, ‘Dhushor Shomoy’. The album features a more matured tone than their previous works with more complex compositions and changing time signatures.
