Mussanjemaatu is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language romance film starring Sudeep and Ramya. The film was directed by Mussanje Mahesh. The movie is produced by Suresh Jain. The music of the film was launched on 4 April 2008. The movie was released on 16 May 2008 in India. It was released in the United States and in Toronto on 30 November 2008. The movie was remade in Bengali as Achena Prem which released on 8 July 2011.

Huchcha (transl. Mad) is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language romantic action drama film directed by Om Prakash Rao, starring Sudeep and Rekha Vedavyas. The film, a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, released to positive reviews and brought lot of fame to Sudeep. Earlier the script was rejected by Upendra and Shiva Rajkumar. The film Huccha 2 is not a continuation of this film but has a similar theme.
Jai Jagadish is an Indian actor, director and producer in the Kannada film industry. Starting his career as an actor in Phalitamsha (1976), he went on to feature in over 300 films as an actor. In 1998, he turned producer for the film Bhoomi Thayiya Chochchala Maga. His debut directorial film was Madana. Some of the notable films of Jai Jagadish as an actor include Gaali Maathu (1981), Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu (1983), Bandhana (1984), Madhuve Madu Tamashe Nodu (1986) and Garjane (1981), among others. His film Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu won the Filmfare Award for Best film. He is the President of Wakayama Karate-Do India.
The Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback – Kannada is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards South for Kannada films. The first Kannada award was given in 2007. Before that, since 1997 till 2005, a common award for playback was available for both Male and Female singers of all the four South Indian languages.

Lifeu Ishtene is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language black comedy film written and directed by Pawan Kumar. It stars Diganth, Sindhu Lokanath and Samyukta Hornad in the lead roles. Sathish Ninasam, Achyuth Kumar and Veena Sundar feature in supporting roles. The plot revolves around the adult life of a carefree youngster, who falls in love easily with multiple women, and observes the consequences, "realizing the meaning of life" and that it comes a "full circle". The title of the film was taken from a track of the 2010 Kannada film Pancharangi.
Arjun Janya is an Indian film score soundtrack composer and singer. Arjun made his film debut in the 2006 Kannada film Autograph Please. Since then he has composed and scored music for successful films such as Birugaali (2009), Sanchari (2010), Kempegowda (2011), Varadanayaka (2012), Victory (2013), Vajrakaya (2015), Mukunda Murari (2016). His 100th film as music director is 99 (2019).
Vani Harikrishna is an Indian film playback singer and music director, who works in South Indian films, primarily in Kannada cinema. She has composed, written and sung several devotional songs before entering into the film playback singing. She won Karnataka State Award for her rendition of "Madhuvana Karedare" song from the film Inthi Ninna Preethiya. Vani debuted as a film composer with the 2013 film Loosegalu. Currently Jury member of Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa singing reality show aired in Zee Kannada.
School Master is a 2010 Indian Kannada language political-drama film directed by Dinesh Babu and produced by C. R. Manohar. The film stars Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini Maniratnam teaming up with the director yet again after Suprabhatha (1988) and Hendthigeltheeni. Also in the cast are Tara, Avinash, Devaraj and Mukesh Rishi. V. Sridhar composed the music for the film while the cinematography is by the director himself.
Krishna Leela is a 2015 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama written and directed by Shashank, and produced by Ajay Rao, making his debut at production under the Shree Krishna Arts and Creations banner. Besides Rao, the film features Mayuri Kyatari, making her film debut and Rangayana Raghu in pivotal roles.
V. Nagendra Prasad is a lyricist, composer and director who predominantly works for Kannada cinema. He has written more than 3000 songs, largely for Kannada cinema.
Iruvudellava Bittu is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language Drama movie directed by Kantha Kannalli, who did his debut in the Kannada Film industry as independent director in 2017 through Jalsa and produced by Devraj Davanagere, featuring Meghana Raj, Tilak Shekar, Achyuth Kumar, Shri Mahadev and Sundeep Malani. The soundtrack and score is composed by Sridhar V. Sambhram, known for super hit music albums Mussanjemaatu and Krishnan Love Story, William David has worked as DOP who is famous for his great work in Rangitharanga and Rajaratha. And Raajakumara fame K. M. Prakash edited the movie. Meghana Raj has won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance as "Poorvi" for this Kannada movie in 2018.
