Stropones is a small village and a community in the island of Euboea in central Greece. This village of about 500 residents is located in central Euboea, 48 kilometres (30 mi) from Chalcis. The village is approximately 366 m (1,201 ft) above sea level. A popular beach, called Paralia Chiliadou, is located a few kilometres from Stropones.
Styra is a village and a former municipality on the island Euboea, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Karystos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 188.583 km2. It is located in the southern part of Euboea, facing the eastern shore of Attica across the South Euboean Gulf. Nowadays it can be reached by ferryboat from the tiny harbor of Agia Marina, as well as by bridge from Chalcis. Above the port there is a hill where the church of Saints Kostantine and Helen is situated with a panoramic view of the coast and Stouronisi . Styra is a very popular destination for Athenians during the summer period. After the collapse of the Iron Curtain, Albanians migrated into the area. The town takes its name from the ancient town of Styra.
Karystos or Carystus is a small coastal town on the Greek island of Euboea. It has about 5,000 inhabitants. It lies 129 km south of Chalkis. From Athens it is accessible by ferry via Marmari from the port of Rafina. After the Greek war of independence, its urban plan was laid out by the renowned Bavarian civil engineer Bierbach, in the middle of the 19th century.
Pydna is a small town and a former municipality in the northeastern part of Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pydna-Kolindros, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 105.059 km2, the community 41.334 km2. Pydna is situated in fertile land close to the Thermaic Gulf coast. The main village of the former municipality is Kitros. It lies 6 km north of Korinos, 8 km south of Methoni and 13 km northeast of Katerini. Motorway 1 and the Piraeus–Platy railway pass east of the village.
Vyroneia is a town located in the municipal unit of Petritsi in the northwestern part of Serres regional unit, Greece. It is situated near the Bulgarian border, on the right bank of the river Strymon, south of the Kerkini mountains, and east of the Lake Kerkini. Vyroneia is 4 km west of Neo Petritsi and 12 km northwest of Sidirokastro. The community has an area of 44.42 km2.
Nea Artaki is a town and a former municipality on the island Euboea, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is a municipal unit, part of the municipality of Chalcis. The municipal unit has an area of 23.015 km2. Nea Artaki is located north of Chalcis. The town was founded in 1923 by Greek refugees from the town of Erdek. The Greek National Road 77 links it with Chalcis and northern Euboea. Nea Artaki is located in a plain that is surrounded with mountains to the east and the North Euboean Gulf lies to the west. Nea Artaki is a well known tourist destination, notably for its beaches.
Meganisi is a Greek island and municipality immediately to the east-southeast of the island of Lefkada. The municipality includes the offshore islands of Skorpios and Sparti. The municipality has an area of 22.356 km2. Its total population was 1,041 at the 2011 census.

Aliveri is a town and a community in the island of Evvoia, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit Tamyneoi, and the seat of the municipality Kymi-Aliveri. Aliveri is situated in the central part of the island, on the South Euboean Gulf. It is 13 km southwest of Avlonari, 14 km east of Amarynthos and 39 km east of Chalcis. The Greek National Road 44 passes through the town. The community Aliveri consists of the town Aliveri and the villages Anthoupoli, Katakalos, Latas and Milaki.
Schimatari is a town and a former municipality in Boeotia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Tanagra, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 38.285 km2. It is situated in the wide valley of the river Asopos, at 6 km from the South Euboean Gulf coast. The Motorway 1 passes north of Schimatari. Schimatari is located 13 km south of Chalcis, 23 km east of Thebes and 43 km north-northwest of Athens. The Tanagra Airport lies to the south.
Amarynthos, is a coastal town and a former municipality in Euboea, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Eretria, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 109.909 km2. Amarynthos is 8 km east of Eretria, 27 km southeast of Chalcis, 63 km northwest of Karystos and 10 km north of Kalamos, across the gulf. The Greek National Road 44 passes through the town.
Anthidona is a former municipality in the Euboea regional unit, Greece. It was named after the ancient Boeotian city Anthedon. During the 2011 local government reform, it became a municipal unit of Chalcis. The population was 7,286 inhabitants at the 2021 census, and the land area is 137.266 km². The seat of the municipality was in Drosia. Although part of the Euboea regional unit, it is not located on the island Euboea, but on the mainland, attached to the northeastern part of Boeotia.

The population was 10,006 inhabitants at the 2021 census, and the land area is 122.235 km². The seat of the municipality was in Vathy. Although part of the Euboea regional unit, it is not located on the island Euboea, but on the mainland, attached to the northeastern part of Boeotia.
Oreoi is a village and a former municipality in Euboea, Greece. It was named after the ancient town of Oreus. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Istiaia-Aidipsos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 49.913 km2 and population of 2,827 (2021). It is situated on the northwest coast of the island Euboea, by the Oreoi Strait that connects the Aegean Sea with the North Euboean Gulf. The small port Agiokampos, 5 km west of Oreoi, is served by ferries to Glyfa on the mainland.
Lichada is a village in Euboea, in central Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Istiaia-Aidipsos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 39.891 km2. The community includes the villages Agios Georgios, Vasilina, Gregolimano, Kavos, Kokkinias and the uninhabited islands Monolia and Strongyli. Lichada is located at the western tip of Euboea. It is 10 km north of Agios Konstantinos, 16 km west of Aidipsos, 37 km east of Lamia and 75 km northwest of Chalcis. Lichada suffered damage in the 2007 Greek forest fires.
Marathokampos is a town, municipal unit, and a former municipality on the island of Samos, North Aegean, Greece. Since the 2019 local government reform it is part of the municipality West Samos, of which it is a municipal unit. The population is 2,609 and the land area is 87.250 km². It shares the island of Samos with the municipal units of Vathy, Pythagoreio, and Karlovasi. It is the smallest of the four in both land area and population.
Seta is a mountain village and a community in the northern part of the municipal unit of Amarynthos, on the island of Euboea, Greece. The community includes the village Kato Seta. It is situated in the mountainous interior of Euboea, northeast of the mountain Olympus and southeast of Dirfi, the highest mountain of the island. It is 10 km south of Stropones, 16 km north of Amarynthos and 30 km east of Chalcis. Seta suffered damage from the 2007 Greek forest fires.

Psachna is a town in Euboea, central Greece, 16 km north of Chalcis. It is built in a small plain in the central-west part of the island. Psachna is the seat of Dirfys-Messapia municipality and the seat of Messapia regional unit. The town is also known for the Psachna campus of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the football team Iraklis Psachna. Its population is 5,827 residents according to 2011 census.
