Municipalities of the Netherlands Second-level administrative divisions in the Netherlands

As of 24 March 2022, there are 344 municipalities and three special municipalities in the Netherlands. Municipalities are the second-level administrative division, or public bodies, in the Netherlands and are subdivisions of their respective provinces.
