Verrabotn is a village located in the municipality of Verran in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located at end of the Verrasundet arm of the Trondheimsfjord. The village of Verrastranda lies about 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the northeast, the village of Trongsundet lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the northeast, and the village of Årnset (in Indre Fosen municipality) lies about 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the southwest. Norwegian National Road 720 runs through the village, which formerly had a primary school. The village is the location of Fines Church.

Malm  is the administrative centre of the municipality of Verran in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village of Malm is located along the Breistadsundet strait which flows into the Trondheimsfjorden. The village of Bartnes lies across the strait from Malm. The village lies about a 32 kilometres (20 mi) drive northwest of the town of Steinkjer, about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northwest of the village of Follafoss, and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of the village of Namdalseid. The Norwegian County Road 720 runs through the village.

Follafoss is a village in the municipality of Verran in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village lies on the northern shore of the Beitstadfjorden, about halfway between the east and west end of the fjord. Follafoss village is about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of the village of Malm and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of the village of Verrastranda. The Follaelva river empties into the Trondheimsfjord at Follafoss. The lakes Holden and Selavatnet both feed the river and also provide power through the Nord-Trøndelag Elektrisitetsverk power company through hydroelectric power from the dams on the lakes.

It is located about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of the village of Malm and about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the village of Follafoss. Fines Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Verran municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Verrabotn. It is an annex church for the Verran parish which is part of the Nord-Innherad prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1915 by the architect O. Havnæs. The church seats about 136 people. The church has a pink interior.

It extends from Beitstadfjorden to the village of Verrabotn. The fjord is a maximum of 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) wide, but at Trongsundet, the fjord is barely 200 metres (660 ft) wide.

The municipality included the northeastern portion of what is now the municipality of Verran in Trøndelag county. The administrative centre was the village of Malm where Malm Church is located.
