The VIVA World Cup is an international football tournament organized by the New Federation Board, an umbrella association for nations unaffiliated with FIFA. A women's tournament played as a two-legged match was organized in 2008 and 2010.
The first edition, with only two teams, was won by the host, Sápmi, who beat Kurdistan over two legs with an aggregate score of 15 – 1.

The second edition, again with only two teams, was won by Padania, who beat the host Gozo over two legs with an aggregate score of 7 – 0. [2]
The Mauritania national football team nicknamed Al-Murabitun in reference to Almoravid dynasty, represents Mauritania in men's international football and it's controlled by the Fédération de Football de la République Islamique de Mauritanie and is a member of the Confederation of African Football. They have not qualified for the FIFA World Cup. However, in the Amilcar Cabral Cup, a regional tournament for West Africa, Mauritania came fourth in 1980 on hosting the competition. The national football team of Mauritania were later runners-up in 1995, losing on penalties to Sierra Leone after the final finished 0–0. On 18 November 2018, Mauritania qualified to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in their history, after they won 2–1 against Botswana.
The Djibouti national football team, nicknamed the Riverains de la Mer Rouge, is the national football team of Djibouti. It is controlled by the Djiboutian Football Federation, and is a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA). Until its 1–0 defeat of Somalia's national squad in the opening stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification, the Djibouti national football team had never won a full FIFA sanctioned international.

The Gozo Stadium, formerly known as the Silver Jubilee Ground, is the main stadium of the island of Gozo, Malta. The Gozo Stadium, which is located in Xewkija, seats only 1,644 people but its standing areas at each end of its main stand ensure that the stadium can hold up to approximately 3,800 people. Similar to Malta, the Gozo Stadium is the main venue of the local top division, the Gozo Football League First Division, and the finals of all cups organised by the Gozo Football Association are generally held at the stadium.

The 2010 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and P&G and officially known as the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup, was the 9th edition of the AFF Championship, took place on 1–29 December 2010. Indonesia and Vietnam hosted the preliminary stage from 1 to 7 December for Group A and 2 to 8 December for Group B. The semi-finals were played home and away with the first legs on 15 and 16 December 2010, and the second legs on 18 and 19 December 2010. The final was played over two legs on 26 December 2010 and 29 December 2010.
The national football team of the Two Sicilies is the football team of the Two Sicilies, which are a territory formed by the Island of Sicily and Hither Sicily. The team is controlled by the Federazione Lega Calcio Due Sicilie. As the Two Sicilies are not a recognised state they are neither a member of FIFA nor UEFA, and the team therefore is not eligible to enter either the World Cup or European Championship. However, from January 2010, they became a provisional member of the NF-Board.
