Waiting For The Sonic Boom is the debut album by Ooberman side-project Ooberon. It was recorded by Andy and Steve Flett, mostly at the latter's home in Wavertree, Liverpool. It includes contributions by Ooberman members Dan Popplewell and Sophia Churney, as well as former Ooberman drummers Jaymie Ireland and Alan Kelly.

Black Eyed Peas is an American musical group consisting of rappers will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo. The group's lineup during the height of their popularity in the 2000s featured Fergie, who replaced Kim Hill in 2002. Originally an alternative hip hop group, they subsequently refashioned themselves as a more marketable pop-rap act. Although the group was founded in Los Angeles in 1995, it was not until the release of their third album Elephunk in 2003 that they achieved high record sales.
Colin Murray "Gem" Archer is an English guitarist and singer. He is best known as a member of the rock bands Oasis, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, making him, alongside Chris Sharrock, one of the only members of Oasis to have been part of both Liam and Noel Gallagher's post-Oasis projects. He is also known for his work with Heavy Stereo.
Andrew Piran Bell is a Welsh singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and DJ. He is one of two vocalists and guitarists of the English rock band Ride, and was formerly the bassist of Oasis from 1999 until their breakup in 2009. Bell was also a member of Hurricane #1 as well as Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project Beady Eye until their breakup in 2014.
Gregg Alan Rolie is an American keyboardist, singer and songwriter. Rolie served as lead singer of the bands Santana and Journey – both of which he co-founded. He also helmed rock group The Storm, performed in Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band until 2021, and since 2001 with his Gregg Rolie Band. Rolie is a two-time inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having been inducted both as a member of Santana in 1998 and as a member of Journey in 2017.
Jaime Luis Gomez, better known by the stage names Taboo, or Taboo Nawasha is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, DJ, and comic book writer, best known as a member of the musical group Black Eyed Peas.
Ooberman are an English band with strong indie, folk and progressive influences first formed in 1997. They split up in 2003, shortly after the release of their second album Hey Petrunko, but announced their reformation in April 2006 and began releasing music again soon thereafter.
The Magic Treehouse is the debut album from Ooberman, released in October 1999 on Independiente Records. The album was produced by Stephen Street, famous for his work with The Smiths and Blur, among others.

The Shorley Wall EP was the second release by Ooberman, following the Sugar Bum single, and was the first release that gained the band attention from the press and music fans. It was named as the single of the year for 1998 by The Times.
Bluebell Morning is an EP by Ooberman, released in May 2002 on the band's own Rotodisc label. The title track and "SnakeDance" were reworked and featured on the band's 2003 album Hey Petrunko.
"Blossoms Falling" is a song by Ooberman, released as their first single for Independiente, and the first to be taken from the band's debut album The Magic Treehouse. It reached No. 39 in the UK, the only Ooberman single to date to make the UK Singles Chart Top 40. B-side "The Things I Have Lost" was later re-recorded for the band's "First Day of the Holidays" single.
"Tears from a Willow" is a song by Ooberman, released as the third single from their debut album The Magic Treehouse. It was released by Independiente in October 1999. In the song's radio edit, a reference to LSD was removed, but remained intact on the single itself. The radio edit has never been released commercially, but can be heard in the song's video. It charted at #62 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Shorley Wall" is a song by Ooberman, released as the fourth and final single from their debut album The Magic Treehouse. It was released by Independiente in March 2000, and was the band's last release for the label. "Shorley Wall" was originally the lead track of an EP released by the band in 1998. The song charted at #47 on the UK Singles Chart.
Stormwitch is a German heavy metal band from Heidenheim, Baden Württemberg, Germany, formed in 1981. They have been called "The Masters of Black Romantic" by their fans. The band's song lyrics often focused on fantasy, occult or historical themes, along with their contemporaries and countrymen Helloween. They performed at Wacken Open Air festival in 2002. Over time, they have changed their sound from a Judas Priest-esque style of heavy metal to a more keyboard based form of power metal.
Eye of the Storm, was the fifth studio album released by the German heavy metal band Stormwitch in 1989 and the final album that features the original line up. The album is the band's least heavy release to date, featuring several ballads. It is not one of Stormwitch's best received albums.
