William Spicer (18 May 1846 22 September 1892) was an English cricketer. He was a left-arm roundarm medium-pace bowler who played for Surrey. He was born in Kensington and died in Kennington.

Spicer made a single first-class appearance for the team during the 1870 season, against Yorkshire. Batting in the tailend, Spicer made 2 in the first innings and 14 in the second, and took second-innings bowling figures of 1-17.

William Cuevas baseball player (1990-)

William Enrique Cuevas Osorio [kway'-vahss / oh-so'-re-o] is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the KT Wiz of the KBO League. He made his major league debut with Boston Red Sox in 2016, and has also played for the Detroit Tigers. Listed at 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) and 215 pounds (98 kg), Cuevas throws right-handed and is a switch hitter.

The Australian cricket team toured New Zealand in January and February 1881. The Australians played ten matches against provincial teams, nine of which fielded 22 players with the aim of providing more evenly-matched contests. Two further brief matches were played to fill the allotted time after a scheduled match finished early. As none of the matches were 11-a-side they are not considered to have been first-class.
