Willk'i (Aymara for gap, [1] also spelled Willkhi) is a 4,974-metre-high (16,319 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. Willk'i lies southeast of Acotango. [2] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. This range is about 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, about 200 to 700 km wide, and of an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Chhuxlla Willk'i is situated south-east of the 4,737-metre-high (15,541 ft) mountain named Qala Cruz (Khala Cruz) and Ch'alla Qullu, and north-east of a 4,522-metre-high (14,836 ft) mountain which is also called Qala Cruz.

Janqu Willki (Cairoma)

Janq'u Willk'i is a mountain in the northern part of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. Janq'u Willk'i lies north of the mountains Taruja Umaña and Achuma. There are two small lakes at the feet of Achuma and Janq'u Willk'i. They are named Allqa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta.

Urqipi is a 4,230-metre-high (13,878 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Calacoto Municipality, north of the Anallajsi volcano. It is located at the Achuta River, north-east of the mountain Pukara and north of the mountain Churi Willk'i.

Churi Willk'i is a 4,256-metre-high (13,963 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Calacoto Municipality. Pukara lies north of the Anallajsi volcano, south of the mountain Urqipi and north-east of the mountain Pukara.

The Jaruma River originates southwest of the mountain. It flows to the south.

Ch'alla Willk'i is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,940 m (16,210 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality, east of the main range of the Cordillera Real. Ch'alla Willk'i lies between Kunturiri in the southwest and Llust'a in the northeast, and northwest of Turini. A little river named Ch'iyar Jawira originates near the mountain. It flows to the northeast.
