Shanghai has around 2000 formal bus lines,served by more than 10 bus companies. In the past,Bashi,Dazhong,Guanzhong and Qiangsheng were the four largest;around 2009 they merged to become Bashi Group Companies,including Bashi No.1-6 Bus Passenger Service Companies,Bashi Tram,Bashi Xinxin and Chongming Company,Baoshan Company and Jinshan Company. Each Suburban district also renewed with one company serving each district. Around 2015,Bashi No.1 Passenger Service and Bashi Tram merged to be Bashi No.1 Company,Bashi No.2 Passenger Service became Bashi No.2 Company,Bashi No.3,No.4 Passenger Service merged to be Bashi No.3 Company,Bashi No.6 Passenger Service became Bashi No.4 Company,and Bashi No.5 Passenger Service and Baoshan Company became Bashi No.5 Company.

Line 6 is an eastern north–south line of the Shanghai Metro network. It opened on December 29,2007. The entire line is located in the Pudong New Area. A complete trip between the two end terminals,Gangcheng Road and Oriental Sports Center takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Line 6 has been dubbed the unofficial nickname “Hello Kitty Line”due to its lurid pink livery. The line is colored magenta on system maps.
Guilin Road is an interchange station between Line 9 and Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro.
Line 11 is a northwest–southeast line of the Shanghai Metro network. Since October 2013,Line 11 serves Kunshan city,making it is the second intercity metro in China after the Guangfo Metro and the first that crosses a provincial boundary. With a single-line mileage of 82.386 kilometres (51.192 mi),it is the third-longest single-line subway line in China,after Line 6 in Chongqing,which is 85.6 km (53.2 mi) long and Line 7 in Wuhan with a length of 83.6 km (51.9 mi). The line is colored brown on system maps.
Line 13 is a north-west to south-east line of the Shanghai Metro network. It runs between Jinyun Road in Jiading and Zhangjiang Road in Pudong. It was once used as a dedicated line for the World Expo to serve the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. The line is colored pink on system maps.
Line 16 is a rapid transit line serving the south-eastern suburban areas of Shanghai. The line was formerly known as the Lingang line. It was originally designated as Line 21 and was planned as the south part of line 11. The line runs entirely in Pudong New Area,starting from Longyang Road,via Shanghai Wild Animal Park,Huinan Town,ending at Dishui Lake in Nanhui New City. The line is 59 km (37 mi) long and has 13 stations of which three are underground and the rest elevated. Construction begun in early 2009,and the line opened on 29 December 2013. The second phase was completed at the end of 2014.
The Shanghai trolleybus system is a system of trolleybuses forming part of the public transport network in the city of Shanghai,China. Of more than 300 trolleybus systems in operation worldwide,the Shanghai system is the oldest. The system turned 100 years old in November 2014 and was the first trolleybus system anywhere in the world to reach that milestone.
Yan'an Road is a road in Shanghai,a major east–west thoroughfare through the centre of the city. The modern Yan'an Road is in three sections,reflecting three connected streets which existed pre-1945:Avenue Edward VII,Avenue Foch,and the Great Western Road. The streets were joined together under a common name by the Republic of China government in 1945,then renamed in the early 1950s after the Chinese Communist Party took over Shanghai. The road is named after Yan'an,the Communist base during the Chinese Civil War.
Zhaofeng Road is a station on the branch line of Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in Huaqiao,Kunshan,Jiangsu. It is also one of three stations in the Shanghai Metro system that is not located in the municipality of Shanghai itself.

The Fengpu Express is a bus rapid transit line located in Shanghai,China. It operates between Nanqiao Bus Station in Fengxian District and Shendu Highway station in Pudong District,and is operated by Shanghai Xiantong BRT Co. Ltd (贤通快速公交建设有限公司). It is the first BRT line to run in Shanghai.
Trolleybus Route 20 is a trolleybus route in Shanghai,China. It started operations on 27 September 1928,and runs between Zhongshan Park in Changning District and Hankou Road &Middle Sichuan Road in Huangpu District. It is operated by Shanghai Bus No.1 Public Transportation Co. Ltd.
The Lingang Medium Transport Volume,also known as Lingang Digital-rail Rapid Transit,is a rapid transit system operating within Lingang in Pudong District,Shanghai,China. It started operations on 30 June 2021,and is operated by the Shanghai Lingang Public Transport Company. The system operates as an Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit (ART) system,but conventional bus rapid transit-specification buses currently run on the system too.
Trolleybus Route 14 is a trolleybus route in Shanghai,China. Having started operations on 15 November 1914,it holds the records of being the first trolleybus route in China,as well as the oldest trolleybus route still in operation worldwide. The route is operated by Shanghai Bus No.1 Public Transportation Co. Ltd,and currently operates between Jiangpu Road &North No.2 Zhongshan Road in Yangpu District and Dongxinqiao in Huangpu District.
