Yesterworlds is a compilation album by the Swedish melodic death metal band, Dark Tranquillity. It features their previously released and unreleased material: the demo version of Trail of Life Decayed, the EP version of A Moonclad Reflection, an unreleased promo tape from 1994 along with a song taken from the W.A.R. Compilation.

Burzum Norwegian black metal / ambient band

Burzum was a Norwegian music project founded by Varg Vikernes in 1991. Although Burzum never played live performances, it became a part of the early Norwegian black metal scene and is considered one of the most influential acts in black metal’s history. Nerve War is the first release by the Canadian band Front Line Assembly. Having a limited cassette release in 1986, it remains the most sought-after release from Bill Leeb and company. The songs on the tape sound more abrasive and industrial than Leeb's subsequent output which leans more toward an EBM style. It has never been officially released after Front Line Assembly became more popular, however, MP3s of it have appeared on the Internet since about 2002.

Anything Box is an electronic/synthpop musical group originally from Paterson, New Jersey and now based in Long Beach, California. Formed in 1986, they are best known for their 1989 single "Living in Oblivion". They also garnered some attention for releasing an album entirely in MP3 format in 2003. With a current lineup consisting solely of Claude Strilio, the past members have included long-time members Dania Morales and Paul Rijnders, as well as Carlos Pacheco, Mike Zacek, Gary Strilio, Dave South and Barry Bunch. The band is noted for its melodic, synth-driven dance beats from its early years as well as its fusion of electronics and guitars which is its current musical focus. The band also receives praise for its album artwork which ranges from oil paintings to electronic paintings which are all works of Claude Strilio. Anything Box has released several albums, EPs, and singles, and continues to perform around the world.

And I Feel Fine... The Best of the I.R.S. Years 1982–1987 is a compilation album by R.E.M. that features songs from the band's years at I.R.S. Records. All tracks have been remastered, and the set was released 12 September 2006. A companion DVD, called When the Light Is Mine, was released the same day.

<i>Fluorescent Grey</i> 2007 EP by Deerhunter

Fluorescent Grey is an extended play accompaniment to Cryptograms, the second studio release by Atlanta-based band Deerhunter. The EP was released on CD by Kranky on May 8, 2007, and later as a vinyl bundle with Cryptograms. A music video for the track "Strange Lights" is included with the CD release. The album's cover is a photograph of Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt as a seventh-grader. Its lyrical themes touch on death and the decomposition of the human body—"Fluorescent Grey" is the name lead singer Bradford Cox gives to the color of dead flesh. Fluorescent Grey received a number of positive reviews upon its release. Cox later released a free series of demos over the internet, being early versions of tracks on Fluorescent Grey and other material.

Drop Dead is an album originally released in 1984 by Weymouth hardcore band Siege. It is the only album the band ever released. The original "album" was a self-released demo cassette with six songs recorded at Radiobeat studios in Boston and produced by Lou Giordano. There were also three songs recorded for Pushead's Cleanse the Bacteria hardcore compilation. When the album was finally given a proper release on CD by Relapse Records in 1994, the three Cleanse the Bacteria tracks were added to the original six demo tape songs.

In Decay is a compilation album by American electronic musician Seth Haley's project Com Truise, released on July 16, 2012, by the independent record label Ghostly International. It is a collection of tracks that, prior to the release, were only available as tracks found on Haley's internet mixtape series, Komputer Kasts, and his SoundCloud account. These early tracks, some of which were produced before the release of his debut EP, Cyanide Sisters (2010), showcase Haley exploring an electropop funk music sound that would later come to define Com Truise. Critical reception upon release was mixed; a common praise was the album's sound design, while frequent criticisms were its repetition, and lack of distinct tone and feel of each track. A follow-up compilation album, In Decay, Too, was released in 2020.
