USS Cisco (SS-290), a Balao-class submarine, was the only ship of the United States Navy to be named for the cisco, a whitefish of the Great Lakes.
Baoding is a prefecture-level city in central Hebei province, approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) southwest of Beijing. As of the 2010 census, Baoding City had 11,194,382 inhabitants, of which 2,176,857 lived in the metropolitan area made of 4 out of 5 urban districts: Lianchi, Jingxiu, Qingyuan, and Mancheng all of which are largely conurbated. Baoding is among 13 Chinese cities with a population of over 10 million, ranking seventh. Zhuozhou City in the northern part has now grown into part of the Beijing metro area.
Xiangzhou District is a district of the city of Xiangyang, Hubei, People's Republic of China. The district itself was formerly known as Xiangyang. It was a city famous for the siege of Xiangyang (1267–1273) by invading forces of the Mongol-founded Yuan Dynasty. It was also an important city during the period of the Three Kingdoms, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms it was said that it was nearby Xiangyang that Zhuge Liang received his three visits from Liu Bei. Xiangyang was also where Sun Jian fought Liu Biao in 191 AD during the Three Kingdoms. Today, Xiangzhou has been incorporated with nearby Fancheng to form the prefecture-level city of Xiangyang, part of Hubei province.

The Yunnan–Haiphong railway is an 855 km (531 mi) railway built by France from 1904 to 1910, connecting Haiphong, Vietnam, with Kunming, Yunnan province, China. The section within China from Kunming to Hekou is known as the Kunming–Hekou railway, and is 466 km (290 mi) long. The section within Vietnam is 389 km (242 mi) long, and is known as the Hanoi–Lào Cai railway. The railway was built with 1,000 mm gauge due to the mountainous terrain along the route. Currently it is the only main line in China using 1,000 mmmetre gauge.
Ninglang Yi Autonomous County is located in the northwest of Yunnan province, China, bordering Sichuan province to the northeast. It is under the administration of Lijiang City. The Kai Tak Nullah is a nullah or watercourse that collects water from the rivers and streams flowing from the hills in northern New Kowloon. It empties into a narrow channel leading into the Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter. Part of the nullah is covered by roads and other facilities.

Diary of a Japanese Military Comfort Station Manager is a book of diaries written by a clerk who worked in Japanese "comfort stations", where the Japanese military trafficked women and girls into sexual slavery, in Burma and Singapore during World War II. The author, a Korean businessman, kept a daily diary between 1922 and 1957. The diaries were discovered by historian An Byeong-jik in 2012 and published in South Korea in 2013.

C-C-B was a Japanese pop-rock band under Polydor Records label active in the years 1982–1989. At first, they were named CoConut Boys, however in 1985 the name changed to the initials, C-C-B. They became a nationwide success. In 2008, the band reformed once only with three members. Qi River is a river in southwest China's Guizhou and Chongqing. It is 217 square kilometres (84 sq mi) long and is a tributary of Yangtze River, draining an area of 6,902 square kilometres (2,665 sq mi). It rises in northwestern Guizhou's Tongzi County, and flows generally north, passing through the center of Chongqing and joining the Yangtze River in Zhiping Town of Jiangjin District.
