Zhou Yongkang is a former senior leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He was a member of the 17th Politburo Standing Committee (PSC), China's highest decision-making body, and the Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission (Zhengfawei) between 2007 and 2012, making him one of the most powerful leaders in China. In that position, Zhou oversaw China's security apparatus and law enforcement institutions, with power stretching into courts, prosecution agencies, police forces, paramilitary forces, and intelligence organs. He was convicted of corruption-related charges in 2014 and expelled from the CCP in the same year.

He was a senior officer in the guard bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, while Zhou Yongkang served as the Minister. In June 2014, Tan was being investigated for "alleged involvement in bribery". On 2 July 2014, Tan was expelled from the Communist Party of China; his alleged offenses included accepting bribes and seeking personal gain from his position of power. Other former associates of Zhou Yongkang, including Tan Li, Yu Gang, and Ji Wenlin were also investigated.

Shalun line

The Shalun Line is a branch line of the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) West Coast line in Tainan, Taiwan. It was built to link the Western Line to the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) Tainan Station, speeding up transit times between downtown Tainan and the THSR station, with services running from Nanke railway station or Tainan TRA station to Shalun Station, next to the THSR station. The line opened on January 2, 2011.

Jinhua-Wenzhou high-speed railway, also known as Jinliwen high-speed railway as well as the Jinhua-Wenzhou railway expansion renovation project, is a high-speed railway operated by China Railway High-speed in Zhejiang province. This line follows a similar route to the conventional Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway but has stations unique to this line. It connects the cities of Jinhua and Wenzhou, via Wuyi County, Yongkang, Jinyun County, Lishui, Qingtian County, Wenzhou's Ouhai and Lucheng District. It then connects the following railways Shanghai–Kunming high-speed railway's Hangzhou–Changsha section and Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway's Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou Railway and Wenzhou-Fuzhou Railway sections.
