"You're Out of My Life" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Darin and was Darin's entry in Melodifestivalen 2010. The song was first performed in Deltävling 3 (Heat 3) of Melodifestivalen in Göteborg on February 20, 2010 where Darin reached second place and progressed to the final [1] on March 13 in Stockholm. The single was released on February 28, 2010. [2] This is Darin's first physical single release since his departure from Sony Music.

History

On November 3, 2009, it was announced that Darin would be participating in the Melodifestivalen 2010, [3] [4] the Swedish show thatg determines the country's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway. Darin entered with the mid-tempo ballad "You're Out of My Life" written by Tony Nilsson and Henrik Janson who wrote Velvet's The Queen for the 2009 edition. [5] Darin performed 7th in Deltävling 3 (Heat 3) of Melodifestivalen.

There was worry that Darin's song "You're Out of My Life" would be disqualified after it was incorrectly made available to purchase during the week after the semi-final. A total of 54 downloads of the full studio version were made, making a #95 entry into the Swedish singles chart. However, SVT confirmed that Darin would not be disqualified as the mistake was made by the distributor and not by Darin or his management. The song was immediately taken off the music store, and was officially released along with the rest of the Melodifestivalen songs. [6]

The song progressed to the second round of voting, after which Darin was voted through to the final, [1] coming second in the heat after girl group Timoteij with their song "Kom". Darin participated in the Melodifestivalen final on March 13, 2010, at Globe Arena in Stockholm, where he finished in fourth place with a total of 117 points, receiving two sets of 12 points from the Greek and Russian juries.

Melodifestivalen 2009 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2009. It was the selection for the 49th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 48th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five semi-finals were held in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Leksand and Malmö, with Norrköping hosting the final Andra Chansen round.

Heroes (Måns Zelmerlöw song)

On 14 March, the song won Melodifestivalen 2015 and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, which it won. Melodifestivalen 2016 was the 56th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over the six-week period between 6 February and 12 March 2016.

Sweden participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "If I Were Sorry" written by Oscar Fogelström, Michael Saxell, Fredrik Andersson and Frans Jeppsson-Wall. The song was performed by Frans. In addition to participating in the contest, the Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the competition in 2015 with the song "Heroes" performed by Måns Zelmerlöw. SVT organised the national final Melodifestivalen 2016 in order to select the Swedish entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm. After a six-week-long competition consisting of four semi-finals, a Second Chance round and a final, "If I Were Sorry" performed by Frans emerged as the winner after achieving the highest score following the combination of votes from eleven international jury groups and a public vote.

"I Can't Go On" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Robin Bengtsson. The song was released as a digital download in Sweden on 26 February 2017 and peaked at number three on the Swedish Singles Chart. It won Melodifestivalen 2017 and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The song is written by David Kreuger, Hamed "K-One" Pirouzpanah, and Robin Stjernberg.
