KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco and funk band, founded in 1973 in Hialeah, Florida. Their best-known songs include the hits "That's the Way ", "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty", "I'm Your Boogie Man", "Keep It Comin' Love", "Get Down Tonight", "Boogie Shoes", "Please Don't Go" and "Give It Up". The band took its name from lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey's last name ('KC) and the 'Sunshine Band' from KC's home state of Florida, the Sunshine State. The group had six top 10 singles, five number one singles and one number two single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes in 1999. The band's members are Adam Lazzara, John Nolan, Shaun Cooper, and Mark O'Connell (drums), and they are joined by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. Nolan and Cooper left the group in 2003 before rejoining in 2010.

Both albums were released in conjunction with the Use Your Illusion Tour. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts, selling 685,000 copies in its first week, behind Use Your Illusion II's first-week sales of 770,000. Use Your Illusion I has sold 5,502,000 units in the United States as of 2010, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Each of the Use Your Illusion albums have been certified 7× Platinum by the RIAA. It was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1992.

Kon Kan is a Canadian synthpop project conceived and formed in 1988 by Barry Harris in Toronto, Ontario. Kon Kan were awarded a 1990 Juno for the song "I Beg Your Pardon" and nominated for a 1991 Juno Award for the single "Puss N' Boots/These Boots Are Made for Walkin'".

Originally titled "Tough", the song is lyrically about the relationship between the band's lead vocalist Bono and his father Bob Hewson, who died of cancer in 2001. The song won two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Song of the Year at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in 2006.

The song, featuring wife Faith Hill, reached number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in its fifth week on the chart. The song stayed there for six weeks, and became McGraw's and Hill's first top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The accompanying music video, directed and produced by Sherman Halsey is notable in that it showcases Hill, who was very noticeably pregnant with the couple's first daughter, Gracie. The music video won Video of the Year at the 1997 Academy of Country Music Awards. The song was later recorded by pop trio She Moves, whose version peaked at number 67 on the Hot 100. The song appears on the game Karaoke Revolution Country.
