Yukiwo (ユキヲ) is a Japanese male illustrator and adult game artist from Tokyo. He illustrated the manga adaptations to two visual novels developed by Moonstone: Gift , and Clear . His seinen manga Musashino-sen no Shimai has been made into a live action film. [1] It premiered in Japanese theaters on November 17 of 2012. [2] Yukiwo is also the illustrator of the light novel Noucome . [3] His manga Dropkick on My Devil! received an anime adaptation in 2018. [4]

Gift is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Moonstone and released on May 27, 2005, for Windows. The original game was a collaboration project where the company Circus helped to produce it, though Moonstone did the majority of the work involved. Gift is Moonstone's fourth title, and was followed up with an adult fan disc called Gift Rainbow-colored Stories released on January 27, 2006, for Windows. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. The gameplay in Gift follows a plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters. The story revolves around Haruhiko Amami, a male high school student living in a town where a rainbow is always seen in the sky.

Mako Komao is a Japanese author of several light novel adaptations of manga, anime and visual novel series. This includes a single novel adaptation of Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, a manga originally written by Satoru Akahori and illustrated by Yukimaru Katsura. Komao also wrote five light novels based on the Gift visual novel and wrote the original concept for the manga series the First Love Sisters.

Reiko Yoshida is a Japanese screenwriter. She has written and supervised numerous screenplays for anime series, live-action dramas and films. Her major works include Kaleido Star, Aria, Maria-sama ga Miteru, D.Gray-man, K-On!, Bakuman and Girls und Panzer. In more recent works, she has supervised the screenplays for Majestic Prince, Non Non Biyori, A Town Where You Live, Tamako Market, Yowamushi Pedal and Castle Town Dandelion. In films, she wrote the screenplay for The Cat Returns, the original films that would make up Digimon: The Movie, Kyoto Animation’s hit anime film A Silent Voice, and the film adaptations of Osamu Tezuka's Buddha, the second film of which was given a stamp of approval by the Dalai Lama. She wrote the story for the manga series Tokyo Mew Mew along with illustrator Mia Ikumi. Among her works, she was recognized for Best Screenplay/Original Work for Girls und Panzer at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2014, and she won another Best Screenplay/Original Work award in 2017. In 2018, she wrote the screenplay for Violet Evergarden which aired on TV in Japan and is licensed by Netflix. Her latest project is the animated series The Heike Story, produced with animation studio Science Saru.

<i>Clear</i> (video game) Visual novel

Clear is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Moonstone which was released on August 24, 2007 playable on Windows as a DVD. An all ages version of Clear, published by Sweets, was released on February 19, 2009 for the PlayStation 2. Clear is Moonstone's sixth game; Moonstone has also developed Gift. The gameplay in Clear follows a plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters. Moonstone later released a fan disc titled Clear: Crystal Stories in May 2008.

Flex Comix Inc. is a Japanese company specializing in the sale of manga magazines and goods related to the anime and manga industry in Japan. Flex Comix is affiliated with Asian Groove and Soft Bank BB, forming the Movida Holdings joint-investment company. The company publishes two magazines: Comi Digi +, and Monthly Shōnen Blood, which has been suspended. Flex Comix also has four web manga magazine websites called: FlexComix Blood, FlexComix Flare, Comic Meteor and Comic Polaris.

Doga Kobo, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio formed by former Toei Animation members Hideo Furusawa and Megumu Ishiguro, located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. The studio was established on July 11, 1973, and has been involved in the production of a large number of anime over the years. Although after the significant commercial success of their adaptations of Koihime Musō and especially YuruYuri, most of their works have been somehow associated with moe or yuri, Doga Kobo is also known for more traditional romantic shows such as Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Plastic Memories, and Tada Never Falls in Love and for slice of life comedy series such as Gabriel DropOut and Himouto! Umaru-chan.

Tokyo Tribes, known in Japanese as Tokyo Tribe-2, is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Santa Inoue. A previous series titled Tokyo Tribe was published into a single-volume in 1993. Tokyo Tribes was originally serialized from 1997 to 2005 in the urban fashion magazine boon. It is a continuation of the plot in Tokyo Tribe, although many of the characters from that story do not appear in this series. A live-action film adaptation directed by Sion Sono was released in Japan on August 30, 2014.

Denpa teki na Kanojo is a Japanese light novel series by Kentarō Katayama, with illustrations by Yamato Yamamoto. Three novels were published by Shueisha, under their Super Dash Bunko imprint, between 2004 and 2005. The series remains unfinished. Under the title Denpa Biyori, the first story in the series won an honorable mention at the Super Dash Novel Rookie of the Year Awards in 2003.

<i>High School DxD</i> Japanese light novel series and its adaptations

High School DxD is a Japanese light novel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The story centers on Issei Hyodo, a perverted high school student from Kuoh Academy who desires to be a harem king and is killed by his first date, revealed to be a fallen angel, but is later revived as a devil by the red-haired devil princess Rias Gremory to serve her and her devil family. Issei's deepening relationship with Rias proves dangerous to the angels, the fallen angels, and the devils. High School DxD began serialization in Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine in its September 2008 issue. The first volume was released on September 20, 2008. A total of twenty five volumes is available in Japan as of March 2018 under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Hiroji Mishima began serialization in the July 2010 issue of Dragon Magazine and later in the March 2011 issue of Monthly Dragon Age with eleven volumes released.

<i>K</i> (TV series) 2012 anime series

K is a Japanese anime series created by the animation studio GoHands and GoRA, a group consisting of seven anonymous authors known as Kōhei Azano, Tatsuki Miyazawa, Yukako Kabei, Yashichiro Takahashi, Hideyuki Furuhashi, Suzu Suzuki, and Rei Rairaku. The series is directed by Shingo Suzuki, who also serves as its character designer. It began airing on MBS on October 5, 2012. The anime has been licensed by Viz Media in North America and by Madman Entertainment in Australia. The series is set when Japan is secretly being ruled by seven Kings of psychic clans called the Seven Clans of Color. Yashiro Isana, a seemingly normal student of Ashinaka High School, is targeted by HOMRA of the Red Clan and Scepter 4 of the Blue Clan, following the murder of pacifist Tatara Totsuka from HOMRA. With the help of a highly skilled swordsman named Kuroh Yatogami and a feline Strain with the ability of sensory interference named Neko, Yashiro rediscovers his true identity.

<i>Noucome</i> Japanese light novel series

Noucome, short for My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy, is a Japanese light novel series written by Takeru Kasukabe, with illustrations by Yukiwo. Kadokawa Shoten published 12 volumes between February 2012 and February 2016. A manga adaptation by Sayaka Itsuki was serialized in Enterbrain's Famitsu Comic Clear. A ten-episode anime television series adaptation, directed by Takayuki Inagaki and produced by Diomedéa, aired between October and December 2013.

<i>Saekano</i> Japanese light novel series and its franchise

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, known in Japan as Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata and the short form Saekano, is a Japanese romantic comedy light novel series written by Fumiaki Maruto, with illustrations by Kurehito Misaki. Fujimi Shobo published thirteen volumes between July 2012 and October 2017 under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. The story follows high school student Tomoya Aki, who recruits a trio of beautiful girls to help him develop a visual novel to sell at the Comiket convention.

<i>Imouto Paradise!</i> 2011 Japanese visual novel

Imouto Paradise! Onii-chan to Go nin no Imouto no Ecchi Shimakuri na Mainichi is a Japanese erotic visual novel developed and published by Moonstone Cherry. Imouto Paradise! was first released on January 28, 2011, playable on Windows as a PC game. On July 29, 2011, M-Trix produced an Android version of Imouto Paradise!, and on September 29, 2011, the game was released as a DVDPG edition by Dennou Club. MangaGamer released an English language localization of the game on August 22, 2014. On May 31, 2013, Paradigm published a light novel and an adult manga for Imouto Paradise! serialized in the Comic Potpourri Club magazine. A hentai original video animation series was produced. Moonstone Cherry released a sequel to the first visual novel called Imouto Paradise 2.

<i>Musashino-sen no Shimai</i> Japanese web manga series

Musashino-sen no Shimai is a Japanese web manga series illustrated and written by Yukiwo that has been digitally serialized in three different magazines, since June 2008, and the manga is still ongoing. Ranko and Hikaru, the main characters and sisters in Musashino-sen no Shimai, are voiced in the "+Voice" versions of the manga. The story focuses on the everyday life of the two unemployed sisters living in Tokyo who love Lolita fashion. A live-action film based on the series has been released.

Imouto Paradise! 2: Onii-chan to Go nin no Imouto no Motto! Ecchi Shimakuri na Mainichi is a Japanese erotic visual novel developed by Moonstone Cherry and released on May 31, 2013, for Windows PCs and later ported as a DVD TV game. Imouto Paradise! 2 is a sequel to the visual novel Imouto Paradise!, featuring a new cast of characters, but with a similar plot. Both games depict incest.

<i>Dropkick on My Devil!</i> Japanese manga series

Dropkick on My Devil! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukiwo. The series began serialization in Flex Comix's Comic Meteor web magazine in April 2012. Twenty-two volumes have been released as of December 2023. An anime television series adaptation by Nomad aired from July to September 2018, with an additional episode streamed online in October 2018. A second season aired from April to June 2020, and a third season aired from July to September 2022. An anime television special, titled Dropkick on My Devil! Apocalypse Arc premiered in December 2023.

<i>Bye Bye, Earth</i> Japanese novel series

Bye Bye, Earth is a Japanese fantasy novel series written by Tow Ubukata and illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. Kadokawa Shoten have published two volumes in December 2000. A new edition written by Ubukata and illustrated by Hyung-Tae Kim was published by Kadokawa Shoten in four volumes between September 2007 and February 2008 under their Kadokawa Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation illustrated by Ryū Asahi was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's seinen manga magazine Young King OURs from January 2020 to July 2022, with its chapters collected into four tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation produced by Liden Films is set to premiere in 2024.
