Yun Byung-se (born 3 August 1953 in Seoul) was the Foreign Affairs Minister of South Korea. [1] His term ended 31 May 2017.[ citation needed ] From 2006 to 2008,Yun served as senior presidential secretary for foreign,security and unification policy. [2]
Lee Byung-hun is a South Korean actor. He has received acclaim for his work in a wide range of genres,most notably Joint Security Area (2000);A Bittersweet Life (2005);The Good,the Bad,the Weird (2008);I Saw the Devil (2010);Masquerade (2012);and the television series Iris (2009) and Mr. Sunshine (2018). Lee has seven films—Joint Security Area,The Good,the Bad,the Weird,Masquerade,Inside Men,Master,Ashfall and The Man Standing Next—on the list of the highest-grossing films in South Korea. Lee was Gallup Korea's Actor of the Year in the Film division in 2012 and in the Television division in 2018. In 2021,he appeared in a recurring role as the Front Man in the Netflix hit survival series Squid Game.

Kang Kyung-wha is a South Korean diplomat and politician who served as the first female Foreign Minister of South Korea under President Moon Jae-in from 2017 to 2021 as well as the first woman nominated for and appointed to the position. She is also the first Korean woman to hold a high-level position in the United Nations. Previously,Kang was the first non-exam-taker to become a director-general in the ministry. The relationship between the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland spans from the 19th century to the present day. I Saw the Devil is a 2010 South Korean action-thriller film directed by Kim Jee-woon and written by Park Hoon-jung. Starring Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik,the film follows NIS agent Kim Soo-hyun (Lee),who embarks on a quest for revenge when his wife is brutally murdered by the psychopathic serial killer Jang Kyung-chul (Choi).
Presidential elections were held in South Korea on 15 October 1963. They were the first elections since the 1961 May Coup,and the first during the Third Republic. The result was a narrow victory for the acting incumbent and leader of the governing military Supreme Council for National Reconstruction,Park Chung Hee,who won 46.6% of the vote,securing a transition to civilian rule under his Democratic Republican Party. The Japan–South Korea Comfort Women Agreement declared that the issue of the comfort women between Japan and South Korea was to be resolved finally and irreversibly. The agreement was announced by the Foreign Ministers of both countries and confirmed by the Prime Minister of Japan and the President of South Korea by a telephone call on 28 December 2015. In 2019,the agreement had been effectively shelved.
