Zanférébougou is a village and rural commune in the Cercle of Sikasso in the Sikasso Region of southern Mali. The commune covers an area of 68 square kilometers and includes three villages. [3] In the 2009 census it had a population of 7,275. [2] The village of Zanférébougou, the administrative center ( chef-lieu ) of the commune, is 44 km west of Sikasso and 7 km south of the RN7, the main road linking Sikasso and Bougouni.
