The Zee Cine Award (ZCA) is an awards ceremony for the Hindi film industry.They were instituted in November 1997 to award "Excellence in cinema - the democratic way".
They were first held in Mumbai until 2004, when the ZCA went international and had their ceremony in Dubai, and in following years in London, Mauritius, Malaysia, and London again in 2008. It was not held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed in 2011, being held in Singapore in 2012 it was held at the CotaiArena in Macao.
The 2018 edition was held at MMRDA Grounds, Mumbai.
The Filmfare Awards are a set of awards that honour artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi-language film industry of India. The Filmfare ceremony is one of the most famous film events in India. The awards were first introduced by the Filmfare magazine of The Times Group in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards. They were initially referred to as the "Clare Awards" or "The Clares" after Clare Mendonca, the editor of The Times of India. A dual voting system was developed in 1956. Under this system, in contrast to the National Film Awards, which are decided by a panel appointed by Indian Government, the Filmfare Awards are voted on by both the public and a committee of experts.
The Screen Awards is an annual awards ceremony held in India honouring professional excellence in Bollywood. The nomination and award selection is done by a panel of distinguished professionals from the industry. The awards were introduced by the Screen film magazine of The Indian Express Group in 1995. The magazine was acquired by Star India in 2015 and subsequently closed down. Though Star India continues to sponsor the awards under the Star Screen Awards title.
The International Indian Film Academy Awards are a set of awards presented annually. It was created by the Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., which is an International Event Management Company. The awards are voted by fans online for the Indian film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most recent one being held at Mumbai on 18 September 2019.

Following its inception in 1998, a ceremony wasn't held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed back in 2011.

They were introduced in 1954, around the films released in 1952-53 and Filmfare Awards initially recognizing the Hindi film industry. In 1964 awards were extended in Telugu, Tamil, Bengali and Marathi, around the films released in 1963. The inclusion of the Malayalam cinema in the awards came in 1967 while Kannada cinema was recognized in 1970. Each industry is given its own set of creative awards in annual ceremonies that have predominantly been held in Hyderabad and Chennai. Kamal Haasan and Uday Kiran hold the record for being the youngest to win the Best Actor award

Anandalok Puraskar or Anandalok Awards ceremony is one of the most prominent film events given for Bengali Cinemas in India. The Anandalok, only film magazine in Bengali language, published from Ananda Publishers and Ananda Bazar Patrika presents this Award (Puraskar). The magazine was started on 25 January 1975 and the awards (Puraskar) ceremony was started in 1998.
The Vijay Awards are presented by the Tamil television channel STAR Vijay to honour excellence in Tamil cinema. It has been given annually since 2006, with the latest—the 10th edition—of the award-giving ceremony having been held in May 2018. The awards are decided by a jury, consisting of noted film-makers, critics and technicians, while winners in a separate category named "Favourite awards" are chosen by public voting. The awards have been sponsored by Reliance Mobile, Univercell and Close Up. Owing to controversies about indulging personal wishes and a decrease in public interest, it was cancelled for two years.
The Producers Guild Film Awards was an accolade given by the Producers Guild of India to recognize excellence in Indian film and television. Originated by filmmaker and scholar Amit Khanna, the Guild Awards have been one of the major award events from 2004 till 2016, when the last awards ceremony happened. The 22-karat gold statuette was sculpted and designed by the jewellery brand Tanishq and was "inspired by the rich heritage of one of India's most treasured possessions - the Ajanta and Ellora Caves." Nominations for the awards come from selected members of the guild, with the full membership available to vote for the winners. The ballots cast by the guild members are then taken to a common venue for the final counting.
The Tarang Cine Awards are presented annually by Tarang entertainment television channel to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Oriya language film industry mainly based in State of Orissa, India.
South Indian International Movie Awards, also known as the SIIMA Awards, rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry.
Prag Cine Awards are presented annually by Prag News & Rengoni, a satellite television channel from Assam. The aim of the award to give support, recognition and inspiration to the Assamese film industry and honour some of the eminent film personalities who have contributed to the cause of Assamese cinema of Assam. The award was first instituted in the year 2003. Starting from 2015, films produced in other Northeastern states were also honored in this ceremony.
The Filmfare Marathi Awards are presented annually both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Marathi language film industry of India. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. During several years in 1990s, a live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences but was later discontinued due to unknown reasons. Presently, a recorded and an edited version of the awards ceremony is televised on television a week or two after the ceremony has been held.
The International Bhojpuri Film Award are a set of awards presented annually by Yashi Films International to honour the artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Bhojpuri language and Hindi language film industry. Instituted in 2015, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year. The first year of the International Bhojpuri Film Award was commenced in 2015 at Mauritius followed by IBFA 2016 Dubai, IBFA 2017 London, IBFA 2018 Malaysia and IBFA 2019 Singapore.
