The Zee Cine Award (ZCA) is an awards ceremony for the Hindi film industry.They were instituted in November 1997 to award "Excellence in cinema - the democratic way".
Hindi cinema, often metonymously referred to as Bollywood, and formerly known as Bombay cinema, is the Indian Hindi-language film industry, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The term being a portmanteau of "Bombay" and "Hollywood". As India is a multi-lingual society with variety of languages spoken by its residents, multiple language films are churned out in their native languages by film industries such as Hindi-language film industry, Tamil film industry (Kollywood), Telugu film industry (Tollywood) and others, together combined they form the massive Indian Cinema, the largest film industry in the world.
They were first held in Mumbai until 2004, when the ZCA went international and had their ceremony in Dubai, and in following years in London, Mauritius, Malaysia, and London again in 2008. It was not held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed in 2011, being held in Singapore in 2012 it was held at the CotaiArena in Macao.

The Republic of Mauritius also includes the islands of Rodrigues, Agalega and St. Brandon. The capital and largest city Port Louis is located on the main island of Mauritius.
The 2018 edition was held at MMRDA Grounds, Mumbai.

The Filmfare Awards, presented by The Times Group, are a set of awards that honour artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi-language film industry of India. The Filmfare ceremony is one of the oldest and most prestigious film events in India. The awards were first introduced in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards. They were initially referred to as the "Clare Awards" or "The Clares" after Clare Mendonca, the editor of The Times of India. A dual voting system was developed in 1956. Under this system, in contrast to the National Film Awards, which are decided by a panel appointed by Indian Government, the Filmfare Awards are voted on by both the public and a committee of experts.
The Screen Awards is an annual awards ceremony held in India honouring professional excellence in Bollywood. The nomination and award selection is done by a panel of distinguished professionals from the industry. The name of the annual ceremonies are prefixed by the presenting network; the first Star Screen Awards were telecasted on Star Plus in 2000 till 2011, after which the Colors Screen Awards were previewed on Colors and the Life OK Screen Awards on Life OK, each for a period of two years. As of 2016, Star continues to hold the television distribution rights.
The International Indian Film Academy Awards are a set of awards presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Bollywood, the Hindi language film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most recent one being held at the Siam Niramit Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand on 22-24 June 2018.
The Stardust Awards is an award ceremony for Hindi movies, which is sponsored by Stardust magazine. Here is a list of the award winners and the films for which they won. The first ceremony was held in 2004 for films released in 2003. The awards ceremony still continues with several Discontinued, Intermittent and Special Awards.
The Zee Cine Award Best Playback Singer- Male is chosen by the jury of Zee Entertainment Enterprises as part of its annual award ceremony for Hindi films, to recognise a male playback singer. Following its inception in 1998, a ceremony wasn't held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed back in 2011.
Harshdeep Kaur is an Indian Playback singer known for her Bollywood Hindi, Punjabi and Sufi songs. She is popularly known as "Sufi Ki Sultana" because of her soulful Sufi renditions. After winning the titles in two talent reality shows, Kaur established herself as a lead singer in Bollywood soundtracks. She was sixteen years old when her first Bollywood song "Sajna Mai Haari" released.
Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, presented by The Times Group to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the South Indian film industry. The Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada actors perform their talents on the stage. They were introduced in 1954, around the films released in 1953 and Filmfare Awards initially recognizing the Hindi film industries. In 1964 awards were extended to Best Picture in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi, around the films released in 1963. The inclusion of Malayalam cinema in the awards came in 1967 while Kannada cinema was recognized in 1970. Each industry is given its own set of creative awards in annual ceremonies that have predominantly been held in Chennai and Hyderabad.
Anandalok Puraskar or Anandalok Awards ceremony is one of the most prominent film events given for Bengali Cinemas in India. The Anandalok, only film magazine in Bengali language, published from Ananda Publishers and Ananda Bazar Patrika presents this Award (Puraskar). The magazine was started on 25 January 1975 and the awards (Puraskar) ceremony was started in 1998.
Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai is a 2010 Indian gangster film written by Rajat Arora, directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor. It stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Prachi Desai and Randeep Hooda. The film is produced under Balaji Motion Pictures and released on 30 July 2010. Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai received generally positive reviews from critics and was a box office success. The film is loosely based on the lives of Mumbai underworld gangsters Haji Mastan and Dawood Ibrahim.
Zee Gaurav Puraskar is a cinema award show in India initiated by Zee Network to reward excellence in the Marathi entertainment world.
The Producers Guild Film Awards is an accolade given by the Apsara Producers Guild to recognize excellence in Indian film and television. Originated by filmmaker and scholar Amit Khanna, the Star Guild Awards have been one of the major award events since 2004. The 22-karat gold statuette was sculpted and designed by the jewellery brand Tanishq and was "inspired by the rich heritage of one of India's most treasured possessions - the Ajanta and Ellora Caves." Nominations for the awards come from selected members of the guild, with the full membership available to vote for the winners. The ballots cast by the guild members are then taken to a common venue for the final counting.
The Tarang Cine Awards are presented annually by Tarang entertainment television channel to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Oriya language film industry mainly based in State of Orissa, India.
The Edison Awards is an annual awards ceremony since 2009 for people in the Tamil film industry. It is named after the inventor of cinema, Thomas Alva Edison. It reaches seven countries with Tamil language television, with the main broadcaster Astro in Malaysia.
Prag Cine Awards are presented annually by Prag News, a satellite television channel from Assam. The aim of the award to give support, recognition and inspiration to the Assamese film industry and honour some of the eminent film personalities who have contributed to the cause of Assamese cinema of Assam. The award was first instituted in the year 2003. Starting from 2015, films produced in other Northeastern states were also honored in this ceremony.
Zaira Wasim is a Kashmiri actress who works in Hindi films. The recipient of numerous accolades, including a Filmfare Award and a National Film Award, she was honoured with National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement by Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, at a ceremony in New Delhi in 2017.
The Filmfare Marathi Awards are presented annually both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Marathi language film industry of India. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. During several years in 1990s, a live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences but was later discontinued due to unknown reasons. Presently, a recorded and an edited version of the awards ceremony is televised on television a week or two after the ceremony has been held.
