Zibashahr (Persian : زيباشهر) ^[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Garkan-e Jonubi District of Mobarakeh County, Isfahan province, Iran. ^[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Garkan Rural District. ^{[6] [b]}

History

In 2002, the village of Khulenjan merged with the villages of Adergan (آدرگان) and Lenaj (لنج) to form the new city of Zibashahr. ^[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 9,071 in 2,466 households. ^[7] The following census in 2011 counted 9,668 people in 2,881 households. ^[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 10,200 people in 3,163 households. ^[2]
