Zuran (Persian : زوران‎, also Romanized as Zūrān)^[1] is a village in Baryaji Rural District, in the Central District of Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 595, in 105 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Baryaji Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,658, in 2,295 families. The rural district has 65 villages.

The Central District of Sardasht County is a district (bakhsh) in Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 72,777, in 15,071 families. The District has two cities: Sardasht and Rabat. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Alan Rural District, Baryaji Rural District, Bask-e Kuleseh Rural District, and Gavork-e Sardasht Rural District.
