Žeje (pronounced  [ˈʒɛːjɛ] or [ˈʒeːjɛ] ; German : Scheje [2] ) is a village in the Municipality of Naklo in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.

German is a West Germanic language that is mainly spoken in Central Europe. It is the most widely spoken and official or co-official language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol (Italy), the German-speaking Community of Belgium, and Liechtenstein. The Municipality of Naklo is one of the municipalities in northwestern Slovenia. Its centre is Naklo. The municipality, established in 1994, lies at an elevation of 407 metres (1,335 ft) and has 5,020 residents. It has an area of 28.3 square kilometres (10.9 sq mi).

NK Naklo played a total of four seasons in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the country's highest division, in the 1990s. The club folded in 2010 after failing to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia, and was refounded in the same year. They are currently playing in the regional league of the Upper Carniola region.
