FIBA U16 African Championship

The FIBA U18 African Championship is an under-18 basketball championship in the International Basketball Federation's FIBA Africa zone. The tournament is held biennially. The top two teams qualify directly to the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup.

To date, she has taken part in the regional championship the AfroBasket 23 times. In terms of the number of successful performances, it is inferior to the traditionally strong teams of Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and Egypt. In 2011, the Tunisian national team became the champion of Africa for the first time in its history, defeating the Angola team in the AfroBasket 2011 final. The team's previous success was silver at the home Africa Championship 1965. The team also won bronze medals in the 1970, 1974, 2009 and 2015 competitions.

The FIBA U18 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Juniors. It's a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. It serves as the qualification tournament for the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, for the FIBA Europe region. The current champions are Serbia.

AfroBasket 2011 was the 26th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the basketball sport governing body, and the African zone thereof. At stake is the berth allocated to Africa in the 2012 Summer Olympics basketball tournament. The tournament was scheduled to be hosted by Côte d'Ivoire, with games to be played in Abidjan. However, in 2011 Madagascar was chosen as host replacement due to a political crisis in Côte d'Ivoire.

The 2014 FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship for Women was the 13th U-18 FIBA Africa championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the world basketball sport governing body. The tournament was held from September 19–28 in Cairo, Egypt, contested by 8 national teams and won by Mali.

The Tunisian national under-18 and under-19 basketball team, nicknamed Les Aigles de Carthage , is governed by the Tunisia Basketball Federation (FTBB). It represents the country in international under-19 and under-18 basketball competitions.

The 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Women's Championship will be the 14th U-18 FIBA Africa championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the world basketball sport governing body. The tournament will be held from August 26 – September 4 in Cairo, Egypt and contested by 8 national teams.

The Croatia men's national under-18 and under-19 basketball team are boys' basketball teams, administered by the Croatian Basketball Federation, that represents Croatia in international men's basketball competitions. The Croatia men's national under-18 basketball team represents Croatia at the FIBA U18 European Championship, where it has a chance to qualify to the U19 World Cup.

Ivana Raca is a Serbian basketball player, who plays for Fenerbahçe of the KBSL in Turkey and the Serbia Women's National Basketball Team. She is 1.88m tall (6'2") and plays as a Power Forward. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in psychology. In 2021, she was drafted in the WNBA as the 28th pick by Los Angeles - Sparks.
