Rock Werchter is an annual music festival held in the village of Werchter, near Leuven, since 1976 and is a large sized annual rock music festival. The 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2012 and 2014 festivals received the Arthur award for best festival in the world at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC). It can host 88,000 guests daily, of which 67,500 combine all four days, to add up to a total maximum of 149,500 different attendees.

Werchter Place in Flemish Region, Belgium

Werchter is a small village in Belgium which has been part of the municipality of Rotselaar since 1 January 1977. It is the site of Rock Werchter and the birthplace of the painters Cornelius Van Leemputten and Frans Van Leemputten. The origin of the Werchter's name is unknown, but is thought to be related to water.

<i>Live! Live! Live!</i> live album by Bryan Adams

Live! Live! Live! is a live album released by Bryan Adams through A&M Records in 1988. It was recorded live at the Rock Werchter festival on 3 July 1988 in Werchter, Belgium. One track, "Into the Fire", was recorded live in Tokyo. The album sold over 1 million copies.
The concert was taped while it "rained in torrents". At the end of It's Only Love, Adams comments to the audience, "I've got to tell you something. For you people to sit out in the rain, means you're one hell of an audience. I mean, to sit out in this..."

Herman Schueremans is a Flemish politician and concertpromotor. Schueremans was involved from the start with Rock Werchter and Torhout-Werchter. Now he still organises Rock Werchter for Live Nation, that bought the two festivals. From 2004 to 2012 he was also a member of the Flemish parliament for the Flemish Liberals and Democrats.

Rock Werchter 2007 was a festival that ran from Thursday 28 June 2007 until Sunday 1 July 2007 at the Rock Werchter site in the Belgian village of Werchter.

Mother Earth Tour is Dutch metal band Within Temptation's first live DVD. It was released as a double DVD, including a live CD with the track list of the first DVD. The first disc features a live concert with footage from the 2002 rock festivals Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Lowlands.

The European Festival Awards were initiated in 2010 by the European festival association Yourope and the festival website Virtual Festivals Europe. The awards are presented annually in January of the following year at the European music conference and showcase festival Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, The Netherlands. The European Festival Awards are aimed at European Festivals and their organizations, who make an important contribution to society. There are awards in 13 categories such as “Best big European festival” and “Best European festival line-up”.

Sonic Highways World Tour

Sonic Highways World Tour was a concert tour by American rock band Foo Fighters, in support of their eighth studio album Sonic Highways. It began on December 10, 2014, in Cape Town, South Africa and continued through South America, Oceania, North America, Europe and Asia. The tour abruptly ended after the November 2015 Paris attacks which included the slaughter of fans and crew at a concert by fellow U.S. rock band Eagles of Death Metal. The band were playing in Bologna on the night of the attacks and had been due in Paris after leaving Italy.

The tour began on 9 September 2015 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and concluded on 3 July 2016 in Werchter, Belgium at Rock Werchter.

The Villains World Tour is a concert tour by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age. The tour is set to take place from June 2017 to July 2018, to support the band's seventh studio album, Villains, which will was released in August 2017. The tour was announced on 15 June 2017, one day after the album's announcement. English rock band Royal Blood are set to support the band on the North American leg of the tour.

The Simulation Theory World Tour is the upcoming world concert tour by English rock band Muse, in support of their eighth studio album, Simulation Theory (2018). The tour is scheduled to begin in Houston on 22 February 2019, and end on 6 October 2019, in Rio de Janeiro.
