SLFA President's Cup

The SLFA President's Cup is a knockout football tournament held in Saint Lucia that is open to the top two clubs from 19 districts that are affiliated with the Saint Lucia Football Association. The competition began in 2015.

Saint Lucia country in the Caribbean

Saint Lucia is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. The island is also called Iyonola, the name given to the island by the native caribs. Part of the Lesser Antilles, it is located north/northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. Saint Lucia Football Association

The Saint Lucia Football Association is the governing body of football in Saint Lucia. The FA was founded in 1979, the same year the island gained independence, and is headquartered in Castries, the nation's capital. It runs the Saint Lucia men's and women's junior and senior national teams, as well as its domestic football competitions, which include both men's and women's professional leagues and youth championships.

TAFIC F.C. association football club in Botswana

Tati African Federation Independent Club, TAFIC F.C. is a football club based in Francistown, Botswana. The team was relegated from the Botswana Premier League to the First Division North in 2014.. Nicknamed Matjimenyenga,after a stream, which runs behind the low-income locations of Maipaafela and Kgaphamadi. The club motto: "Undipe ndi kupe". The club was founded as in 1959 as a break away from the then popular TAFA football club. Information has it that the founders of TAFIC, which was initially known as Sharp Shooters in its formative years, were based at Kgaphamadi. They gained promotion back to the elite league as champions in the 2016/17 season but were subsequently relegated the very next season. They are currently playing in the First Division North.

Saint Louis Suns United, is a football club based in Victoria, Seychelles. The club was formed as the result of a 2007 merger between Saint-Louis and Sunshine (1993).

The 2006 season of the Bhutanese A-Division was the twelfth recorded season of top-flight football in Bhutan. The league was won by Transport United, their third title in a row and only the second time a team had achieved such a hat trick since Druk Pol in 1998.

Druk Star F.C. association football club

Druk Stars FC is a football club from Thimphu, Bhutan and have twice been champions of Bhutan. The team, formed in 1997, plays in the Changlimithang Stadium. The club competed in the A-Division from 2002, when they won their first title, through to 2010, having won a second title in 2009. they were absent from the A-Division in 2011 and played in and won the 2012 B-Division. Returning to the top flight, they qualified for the National League for the first time in 2014. In addition to their two A-Division and one B-Division title, they have also won the Club Cup Championship in 2009 and represented Bhutan in the AFC President's Cup in 2010.

Druk Pol F.C. association football club

Druk Pol FC is a football club from Thimphu, Bhutan. Until 1996 it was called Royal Bhutan Police FC. Druk Pol FC plays in the A Division and has won more national championships than any other team in Bhutan. The team plays in the Changlimithang Stadium.

Vempers Sports Athletic Dramatic Club, often referred to by their acronym VSADC is a Saint Lucian football club based in Castries, competing in the Saint Lucia Gold Division, the top tier of Saint Lucian football.

Gomtu was a football club from Gomtu, Bhutan, based at Changlimithang, who played in the Bhutan A-Division, then the top level of football in Bhutan, but since replaced by a full national league.

The 2016 SLFA First Division was the 38th season of top-division association football in Saint Lucia. The SLFA First Division season began on 22 October 2016, and concluded on 8 December 2016.
