Åsmund Frægdegjevar is the first full-length album by the Norwegian folk metal band Lumsk. It was released on August 25, 2003 by Spinefarm. A concept album, it adapts the Norwegian legend Åsmund Frægdegjevar into an experimental folk metal project.

Lumsk is a folk metal band from Trondheim, Norway. The band combines traditional Norwegian folk music and folklore with rock, progressive rock and metal. The group has both male and female vocals with violin, guitar and drums.

The band is named after the dead plateau of darkness in the land of Mordor from J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings.
