HKBN Ltd., commonly known for its subsidiary Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited, is a Hong Kong-based Internet, communication and telecommunication company. HKBN was established on 23 August 1999, it is one of the largest residential and enterprise internet, communication and telecommunications service providers in Hong Kong.

The telecommunications industry in China is dominated by three state-run businesses: China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. The three companies were formed by restructuring launched in May 2008, directed by the Ministry of Information Industry (MII), National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Minister of Finance. Since then, all three companies gained nationwide fixed-line and cellular mobile telecom licenses in China. In 2019, all three telecoms were issued 5G national licenses.

Hutchison Asia Telecom Group or HAT, is a division of Hong Kong-based multinational conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings. The division provides telecommunications services to several Asian countries. The division was formerly incorporated as Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited, known as Hutchison Telecom or HTIL in short. It was an offshore company in the Cayman Islands and a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. It operates GSM, 3G and 4G mobile telecommunications services in Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam under brands 3, Hutch and Vietnamobile.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">New World Telecommunications</span> Asian telecommunications company

New World Telecommunications Limited also known as New World Telecom, was a fixed line provider of Hong Kong S.A.R., China. It was a subsidiary of New World Development, via New World Telephone Holdings; New World Telecommunications was acquired by a competitor, Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN) in February 2016. In the same year New World Telecommunications was renamed to HKBN Enterprise Solutions, as a subsidiary of HKBN.

China Power Investment Corporation also known as CPI Group was one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in mainland China. It was administrated by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. It was engaged in development, investment, construction, operation, and management of power plants and power generation in twenty-seven Chinese provinces. It supplies approximately ten percent of the country's electricity.

PCCW Mobile HK Limited previously known as Mandarin Communications Limited, was a subsidiary of PCCW involving mobile network operator of 2G and 3G in Hong Kong. It was previously owned by a Caymans-incorporated Hong Kong listed company Sunday Communications until 2006.

Sun Mobile Limited, formerly known as New World Mobility Limited, is a mobile network operator brand and company in Hong Kong. It is a joint venture of HKT and Telecom Digital.

Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited is a telecommunications operator in Hong Kong. It operates GSM dual-band, 3G, 4G LTE mobile services in Hong Kong and Macau under the licensed global Three brand. It launched a 5G service in Hong Kong on 1 April 2020 and is flourishing into a digital operator in the new 5G era.

Coolpad Group Limited is a Chinese telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It is incorporated in the Cayman Islands and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as SEHK: 2369. It is a large smartphone company ZTE in China and the largest Chinese domestic by sales outside of China. Since acquired by Jia Yueting, it was part of LeEco Group, but not under the group mainland's parent company Leshi Holding.

China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. known as China Cinda or just Cinda is a Chinese merchant bank and asset management company. The corporation was founded as a state-owned enterprise and a bad bank for China Construction Bank in 1999. The bank received shares by debt-to-equity swap on non-performing loans. In 2010, the corporation became a "company limited by shares".

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hong Kong Telecom</span> Hong Kong telecommunications company

HKT Limited, also known as Hong Kong Telecom, is one of the largest telecommunications companies in Hong Kong. It has a dominant position in fixed-line, mobile, IDD and broadband services in Hong Kong. HKT Group is a subsidiary of PCCW since 2000, after it was acquired from Cable & Wireless plc.
