Stephanus Franszouis du Toit, known as Fanie du Toit, is a South African politician who has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. Du Toit is a member of the North West provincial delegation and a party member of the Freedom Front Plus.

Parliamentary career

Du Toit is a member of the Freedom Front Plus. Following the election on 8 May 2019, he was sworn in as an MP on 23 May 2019. He is one of two permanent FF Plus representatives in the National Council of Provinces. [1] Du Toit is a member of the North West delegation. [2] [3]

Freedom Front Plus Political party in South Africa

The Freedom Front Plus is a national South African political party that was formed in 1994. It is led by Pieter Groenewald. Its current stated policy positions include amending affirmative action and land reform to protect the rights and interests of minorities, especially the Afrikaners.

Christian "Chris" Hattingh is a South African politician. A member of the Democratic Alliance (DA), South Africa's official opposition, he has served at various times in the local, provincial and national tiers of his country's government. He was the longest-serving member of the North West Provincial Legislature before moving to the National Council of Provinces, the upper house of the national parliament in Cape Town, in 2015. Pieter Groenewald South African politician

Petrus Johannes "Pieter" Groenewald is a South African politician. He has been serving as the Leader of the Freedom Front Plus since his election in November 2016. He started his political career by being elected Mayor of Stilfontein in 1988. He relinquished the position in 1989 due to his election to the House of Assembly. Groenewald co-founded the Freedom Front in 1994, and served as a Member of the National Assembly until his election to the North West Provincial Legislature in 1999. He returned to the National Assembly in 2001.

Tamarin "Tammy" Wessels is a South African politician who is the national youth leader of the Freedom Front Plus. She has been serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2019. She was previously a Member of the Free State Provincial Legislature. Wessels is married to fellow FF Plus MP Wouter Wessels.

Wouter Wynand Wessels is a South African politician and a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Freedom Front Plus. He took office as an MP on 1 December 2017 and succeeded the former party leader Pieter Mulder, who resigned from Parliament a day earlier. Wessels is married to fellow FF Plus MP Tammy Wessels.

Philippus Adriaan van Staden, known as Philip van Staden, is a South African politician from Gauteng. He has been serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) since 2019. He previously represented the FF+ in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2014 to 2019. Van Staden was a municipal councillor of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from 2011 to 2014.

Maurencia Natalie Gillion is a South African politician who serves as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces, the upper house of the South African Parliament. She is a member of the Western Cape provincial delegation, representing the African National Congress (ANC). She is also the chairperson of the legislature's Select Committee on Health and Social Services. Gillion served as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from 2014 to 2019.

Armand Benjamin Cloete is a South African politician who has been a member of the Free State Provincial Legislature since 2021. He had previously served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from the Free State from 2019 to 2021. Cloete is a member of the Freedom Front Plus.

Seneanye Betta Lehihi is a South African politician who has been representing the North West in the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. Lehihi is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

Simo Ezra Mfayela was a South African politician from KwaZulu-Natal who served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from May 2019 until his death. He was the sole permanent representative of the Inkatha Freedom Party and the deputy provincial chairperson of the party. Mfayela was the son of the former senator Senzo Mfayela.

Lindiwe Christabola Bebee is a South African politician. She has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since May 2019. A member of the African National Congress, she is the whip of the KwaZulu-Natal provincial delegation. From May 2009 to May 2019, Bebee served as a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature.

Christiaan Frederik Beyers Smit is a South African politician who has been a permanent delegate on the National Council of Provinces since May 2014. Smit is a member of the Limpopo delegation and a party member of the Democratic Alliance.

Erns Kleynhans is a South African politician currently serving as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature for the Freedom Front Plus. Kleynhans served as a councillor of the Matlosana Local Municipality from 2016 to 2019.

Mbulelo Richmond Bara is a South African politician of the Democratic Alliance who has been a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since 23 May 2019. He is a member of the Gauteng provincial delegation. Between 14 November 2016 and 7 May 2019, he served as a member of the National Assembly.

Bridget Staff Masango is a South African Democratic Alliance politician from Gauteng who has served as the Shadow Minister of Social Development since October 2015. She has also been a Member of the National Assembly since October 2015. From May 2014 to October 2015, Masango served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces.

Makosini Mishack Chabangu is a South African politician from the Free State. He is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Chabangu has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since 2019.

Dikgang Mathews Stock is a South African politician from the Northern Cape serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since 2019. Prior to his election to the National Assembly, he served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from 2014 to 2019. Stock is a member of the African National Congress.
