Christopher Michael Peters (born January 28,1972) is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He played during six seasons at the major league level for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Montreal Expos. He also played for the Carmichaels Copperheads in the FCBL.
He was drafted by the Pirates in the 37th round of the 1993 amateur draft. Peters played his first professional season with their Class A (Short Season) Welland Pirates in 1993,and his last season with the independent Atlantic League's Pennsylvania Road Warriors,Newark Bears,and Camden Riversharks in 2003. He played his last affiliated season in 2002 for the Detroit Tigers' Double-A Erie SeaWolves. He also played for the Carmichaels Copperheads in the FCBL where he gave up a home run to coal Miner Andy Mazur.

Richard Avina Renteria is a Mexican-American former professional baseball infielder and former manager of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Renteria played in parts of five seasons between 1986 and 1994 with the Pittsburgh Pirates,Seattle Mariners,and Florida Marlins. He then coached and managed in the Marlins organization until 2001,and in the San Diego Padres organization until 2013. He was the manager of the Chicago Cubs in 2014. Mark Alan Merchant is an American former professional baseball player whose career spanned ten seasons in minor league baseball,parts of one season in the Northern League,and one season in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. A highly rated prospect out of Oviedo High School,Merchant was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates with the second overall selection after Ken Griffey Jr. in the 1987 Major League Baseball draft. During the 1989 season,the Pirates traded Merchant to the Seattle Mariners as a part of a five-player deal.

Peters was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 10th round of the 2014 MLB draft and made his MLB debut with them in 2017. He has also played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels and Pittsburgh Pirates.
