Armenia has maintained a policy of complementarism by trying to have positive and friendly relations with Iran, Russia, and the West, including the United States and the European Union since its independence. It has full membership status in a number of international organizations and observer status, etc. in some others. However, the dispute over the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and the recent war over Nagorno–Karabakh have created tense relations with two of its immediate neighbors, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Botswana has put a premium on economic and political integration in southern Africa. It has sought to make the Southern African Development Community (SADC) a working vehicle for economic development, and it has promoted efforts to make the region self-policing in terms of preventative diplomacy, conflict resolution, and good governance. The SADC headquarters are located in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. It has welcomed post-apartheid South Africa as a partner in these efforts. Botswana joins the African consensus on most major international matters and is a member of international organizations, such as the United Nations and the African Union. Botswana is also a member of the International Criminal Court with a Bilateral Immunity Agreement of protection for the US-military.
Like its Eastern Caribbean neighbors, the main priority of Dominica's foreign relations is economic development. The country maintains missions in Washington, New York, London, and Brussels and is represented jointly with other Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) members in Canada. Dominica is also a member of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the Commonwealth of Nations. It became a member of the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1978 and of the World Bank and Organization of American States (OAS) in 1979.

The word is also often used more liberally for persons who are known, without national appointment, to represent certain professions, activities and fields of endeavor such as sales.
Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport is Romania's busiest international airport, located in Otopeni, 16.5 km (10.3 mi) north of Bucharest's city centre. It is currently one of two airports serving the capital of Romania. The other is Aurel Vlaicu Airport, which no longer serves scheduled passenger traffic.
The People to People Student Ambassador Program was a travel service based in Spokane, Washington, offering domestic and international travel opportunities to middle and high school students. The group was founded in 1956 and reincorporated in 1995. People to People Student Ambassador Programs closed in 2015.
Robert John Emlyn Evans was a Member of the European Parliament for the Labour and Co-operative Parties, representing London from 1994–2009. He was originally elected to the European Parliament for London North West in 1994, having previously stood unsuccessfully in 1989. In November 2012 he was Labour candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner in Surrey. On 2 May 2013 he was elected Surrey County Councillor for Stanwell and Stanwell Moor. He was re-elected to this seat in May 2017 with an 11% increase in his vote on what was otherwise a disappointing night for Labour.

Hill-Holder is a name for the mechanism invented by Wagner Electric and manufactured by Bendix Brake Company in South Bend, Indiana. Studebaker and many other carmakers offered the device as either optional or standard equipment for many years. It is a device that holds the brake until the clutch is at the friction point, making it easier to start up hills from a stop in manual transmission automobiles. It was first introduced in 1936 as an option for the Studebaker President. By 1937 the device, called "NoRoL" by Bendix, was available on Hudson, Nash and many other cars. In modern usage, the mechanism is also called hill hold control (HHC) or hill start assist.

O’Neill worked on the State Department's Policy Planning Staff (2005–2006), and as Special Assistant for Russian Affairs to Secretary of State Colin Powell (2004–2005) when O’Neill was a non-political, non-partisan White House Fellow.
Românii au talent is a TV show which began airing on 18 February 2011. The project acts as a Romanian version of the franchise Got Talent, developed by Simco Limited. The show is hosted by Smiley and Pavel Bartoș, while the opening judge panel consisted of singer Andra, presenter Andi Moisescu, and dancer Mihai Petre; following Petre's exclusion for the fifth season, TV presenter Mihaela Rădulescu and actor Florin Călinescu joined the panel. The winner of "Românii au talent" is awarded with €120,000.
Rovana Plumb is a Romanian politician of the Social Democratic Party. She was appointed Minister of Environment and Forests on 7 May 2012. From 5 March 2014 to 9 November 2015, she was the Minister of Labor, Family, Social Protection and Elderly in the Government of Romania. In March 2015 Rovana Plumb was elected President of the National Council of PSD. She attended the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. She served as a member of the Parliament of Romania from 2004 to 2007 and the European Parliament from 2009 to 2012.
Ion Jinga is a Romanian diplomat working in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1992. Between 2003 and 2008 he served as the Romanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and between 2008 and 2015 he held the position of Ambassador of Romania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. On 4 August 2015 he was appointed Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Romania to the United Nations in New York. He and his wife Daniela have one daughter.
