He has been dubbed the "Queen of Drag".

It is created and produced by Robert Smigel and J. J. Sedelmaier as part of the Saturday TV Funhouse series of sketches. It follows the adventures of Ace and Gary, voiced by Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell, respectively, two superheroes whose sexual orientation is a matter of dispute, and a cavalcade of characters preoccupied with the question.

On November 18, 2015, The Soup was cancelled by E! and its last episode aired December 18, 2015. The Big Gay Sketch Show is an LGBT-themed sketch comedy program that debuted on Logo on April 24, 2007. The series is produced by Rosie O'Donnell and directed by Amanda Bearse. The program was originally titled The Big Gay Show but was renamed during production. As the name indicates, the show features comedy sketches with gay themes or a gay twist. Sketch topics include parodies of old sitcoms like The Honeymooners and The Facts of Life under the Nick at Nite-parodying heading "Logo at Nite", a lesbian speed dating session, and an extended send-up of Broadway legend Elaine Stritch working as a Wal-Mart greeter, among other decidedly un-glamorous jobs.

The Duplex, also known as The Duplex Piano Bar and Cabaret, is a historical gay bar, piano bar, and cabaret theater in the Greenwich Village neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City. The Duplex originally opened in 1951 on 55 Grove Street nearby in the same neighborhood, and moved to its current location at 61 Christopher Street in 1989.
