Independent TV is an Indian direct to home (DTH) television operator. It was a subsidiary of Reliance Communications. [2]

Reliance Communications was a significant mobile network provider in India. In February 2019, the company filed for bankruptcy as it was unable to sell assets to repay its debt. It has an estimated debt of 42,000 crore against assets worth 18,000 crore.

Launched as Reliance Big TV in August 2008, [3] the service acquired 1 million subscribers within 90 days of launch since no other operators were in the market. The service was later renamed to Reliance Digital TV.

The operator was acquired by Pantel Technologies & Veecon Media in January 2018. [4]

Reliance big TV has launched a prebooking DTH offer of 499 rs in which customer will get plethora of 500 channels including HD channel and fta channel free for 5 years [5]

After launching the offer the Pantel Technologies & Veecon Media group decided to rebrand the company as Independent TV. [6]

The company then could not provide installation to consumers because their agreement with STAR India group expired due to nonpayment. As of now, TDSAT asked Star India, Independent TV to enter into a fresh agreement within 4 weeks, on July 23, 2018. [7]

Tata Sky A DTH service provider owned by TATA Group and Sky Group

Tata Sky is an Indian direct broadcast satellite television provider in India, using MPEG-4 digital compression technology, transmitting using INSAT-4A and GSAT-10 satellite. Incorporated in 2004, Tata Sky is a joint venture between the Tata Group and The Walt Disney Company with Temasek Holdings as a minor partner. It was started as a joint venture between Tata Group and 21st Century Fox.

Tiranga TV Indian English language television news channel

Tiranga TV is an Indian English language television news channel. It went on air on 26 January 2019 using Harvest TV name. It is broadcast by Veecon Media and Broadcasting Pvt Ltd which runs another channel named Kaatyayani too according to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (India).
