He coached the Saint Louis University men's soccer team to five NCAA Men's Soccer Championships. The Keough Award, named after him and his son Ty Keough, is presented each year to the outstanding St. Louis-based male and female professional or college soccer player.

Tony Waiters English footballer

Anthony Keith Waiters was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is better known for his coaching career in Canada. He managed the Vancouver Whitecaps to an NASL championship, and was in charge of the Canadian national football team, when they qualified for the 1986 World Cup, which is their first appearance in the tournament.

Feriköy Spor Kulübü is a Turkish sports club established in Feriköy neighbourhood of Şişli, Istanbul in 1927. They were playing at Turkish National Football League from 1959 to 1968. They fell to the Amateur league for economic difficulties after 1968. They finally qualified Regional Amateur League, which was played between 1991 and 1995 and almost disappeared until the 2010–11 season. when they qualified again, after finishing the 2nd Group of Istanbul Super Amateur League as 2nd. But, they finished 11th 11th Group of Regional Amateur League and relegated to Istanbul Super Amateur League.

Rudy Getzinger is a retired U.S.-Austrian soccer midfielder. He was raised in Lintz, Austria before coming to the US. He spent most of his career with Chicago-based teams, earned eight caps with the United States and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

The National Amateur Cup, also known as the USASA Amateur Cup, is an American soccer competition open to all amateur teams affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation.

The American Cup was the first major U.S. soccer competition open to teams beyond a single league. It was first held in 1885. In the 1910s, it gradually declined in importance with the establishment of the National Challenge Cup. It was last held in 1924. The trophy was made by Tiffany & Co. and is described as "a very elegant sterling silver trophy. It is a vase about thirteen inches high surmounted by a Roman athlete. On either side is a foot ball and goal post, while in front on a large shield is the inscription".

Ponta Delgada Soccer Club, also referred to as Fall River Ponta Delgada, was a United States soccer club, based in Fall River, Massachusetts. The club was formed by members of the city’s Portuguese community and shared its name with Ponta Delgada, the largest city of the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal. During the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s they were one of the most successful amateur teams in the United States, winning the National Amateur Cup six times. In 1947 they won the first-ever National Challenge Cup / National Amateur Cup double. The same year their entire squad was selected en masse to represent the United States at the inaugural North American soccer championship. Between 1951 and 1953 they also played in the American Soccer League. They played some home games at Mark's Stadium in North Tiverton, Rhode Island, previously the home of Fall River Marksmen. Like the Marksmen, they did this to avoid the Massachusetts Blue Laws that prevented them from playing Sunday games.

Paul “Doots” Danilo was born in South Fayette Township, Pennsylvania and was a U.S. soccer outside right who played most of his career with amateur teams in western Pennsylvania. He scored the winning goal in the 1940 National Amateur Cup and later served as a coach and administrator on both the local and national levels. Danilo is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
