The Europe Netball World Cup Qualifiers were held in Scotland between 12 October and 16 October 2022. [1] Six teams competed for two places at the 2023 Netball World Cup. (Another European team, England, had already qualified via their position in the world rankings and did not play in this tournament. [2] )
The tournament was played in round-robin format. [3]

The Scotland men's national football team represents Scotland in men's international football and is controlled by the Scottish Football Association. It competes in the three major professional tournaments: the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Nations League and the UEFA European Championship. Scotland, as a country of the United Kingdom, is not a member of the International Olympic Committee, and therefore the national team does not compete in the Olympic Games. The majority of Scotland's home matches are played at the national stadium, Hampden Park.
The Wales men's national football team represents Wales in international football. It is controlled by the Football Association of Wales (FAW), the governing body for football in Wales. They have been a member of FIFA since 1946 and a member of UEFA since 1954.
The Scotland women's national cricket team, nicknamed the Wildcats, represents Scotland in international women's cricket. The team is organised by Cricket Scotland, an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Thailand women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Thailand in international women's cricket matches. Thailand is one of the strongest associate teams in women's international cricket and has been ranked as high as tenth in the ICC Women's T20I rankings.
The Samoa national netball team or Tifa Moana represent Samoa in international netball tests and competitions. The team are coached by Marcia Hardcastle and are co-captained by Opheira Harder-Karatau and Julianna Naoupu. As of 21 July 2019, Samoa are 16th in the INF World Rankings.
The Malawi national netball team, nicknamed "The Queens", represent Malawi in international netball competitions.
The Scotland national netball team represents Scotland in international netball tournaments such as the Netball World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, the European Netball Championship and the Netball Singapore Nations Cup. Scotland also effectively competes in the Netball Superleague. Between 2008 and 2011 they played as Glasgow Wildcats. Since 2017 they have played as the Sirens. As of 1 March 2022, Scotland was 9th in the INF World Rankings.
The Tonga national netball team represents Tonga in international women's netball. Although netball has been played in Tonga, they joined the International Netball Federation in 2011. Tonga won bronze at the South Pacific Games in 1983, 1991 and 1995. On 21 July 2019, Tonga Re-entered at nineteenth in the INF World Rankings.
Sarah Jennifer Bryce is a Scottish cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a wicket-keeper-batter. At the domestic level, she plays for the Watsonian cricket club, for English teams The Blaze and Kent, and for Welsh Fire.
Kathryn Emma Bryce is a Scottish cricketer and the current captain of the national women's cricket team. An all-rounder, she plays at the domestic level for the Watsonian cricket club, and for English teams The Blaze and Derbyshire; she has also been drafted by Manchester Originals. Previously, she has taken the field for English teams Warwickshire, Loughborough Lightning, Lincolnshire and Trent Rockets. She also plays for the Warriors team in FairBreak Invitational T20 tournaments.
The 2019 international cricket season was from May 2019 to September 2019. The 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and Wales took place during this time, starting on 30 May 2019. 10 Test matches, 78 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 109 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), as well as 1 Women's Test, 9 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 130 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period. Additionally, a number of other T20I/WT20I matches were also scheduled to be played in minor series involving associate nations. The season started with India leading the Test cricket rankings, England leading the ODI rankings and Pakistan leading the Twenty20 rankings. On 3 May, the International Cricket Council (ICC) expanded the men's T20I rankings to include all current Full Member and Associate members of the ICC, featuring 80 teams. In the women's rankings, Australia women lead both the WODI and WT20I tables.
The 2023 Netball World Cup was the sixteenth staging of the Netball World Cup, the premier competition in international netball, contested every four years. The tournament was held from 28 July to 6 August at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa, its first time in Africa.
The 2021 international cricket season took place from May 2021 to September 2021. 13 Tests, 56 One Day Internationals (ODIs), 45 [[Twenty20 International]]s (T20Is) were scheduled to be held in this season. The final of the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship took place in June at the Rose Bowl in Southampton, England, with New Zealand beating India by eight wickets. The 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship started in August 2021, with India's tour of England.
The 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament held in September 2022. It was the fifth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier and served as the qualification tournament for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. The top two teams from the qualifier tournament would progress to the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa.
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup, a biennial Twenty20 International (T20I) tournament contested by men's national teams and organised by International Cricket Council (ICC). It is scheduled to be hosted by the West Indies and the United States from 4 June to 30 June 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States. England are the defending champions, having won the previous edition.
Twelve teams are scheduled to compete in the women's football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics. In addition to France, the host nation, 11 women's national teams will qualify from six separate continental confederations.
The Africa Netball World Cup Qualifiers were held in Pretoria, South Africa, between 21 August and 27 August 2022, with nine teams taking part. South Africa, while still participating in the tournament, had already qualified for the World Cup due to being the hosts, leaving eight teams to compete for two qualifying places.
The 2022 Asian Netball Championships were held in Singapore between 3 September and 11 September 2022, with eleven teams taking part. The championships also served as qualifiers for the 2023 Netball World Cup.
The men's qualification for the Olympic basketball tournament will occur between August 2023 and 2024, allocating twelve teams for the final tournament. All five FIBA zones are expected to have a representation in the Olympic basketball event.
The Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers were held in Jamaica between 16 October and 21 October 2022. Teams from nine nations participated with two, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados, qualifying for the 2023 Netball World Cup. Tournament winner Jamaica had already qualified for the World Cup based on World Netball Rankings).
