The 2024 Women's Baseball World Cup will be the 9th Women's Baseball World Cup, an international baseball tournament taking place in Thunder Bay, Canada, and one other to be determined location. The group stage will take place from 8-13 August 2023 as two separate tournaments in two separate locations. The finals will take place in Thunder Bay, Canada in 2024. This is the first Women's Baseball World Cup event to be held in two stages. It will be the third time Canada has hosted the tournament. It is also the first time more than one nation has hosted the tournament. [1] Japan are the defending champions.

The second-round hosts were Tokyo and San Diego, and the championship round was played in Los Angeles.

The 2009 Baseball World Cup (BWC) was the 38th international men's amateur baseball tournament. The tournament was sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation, which titled it the Amateur World Series from the 1938 tournament through the 1986 AWS. The 2009 tournament was held, for the first time, across a continent — with games played in 27 cities across eight European countries, from September 9 to 27. The final was a repeat of the previous BWC final, with the United States again defeating Cuba, winning its fourth title. The 2011 Baseball World Cup (BWC) was the 39th international Men's amateur baseball tournament. Panama were first-time hosts, with games held in four cities, from October 1 to 15.

The 2018 Women's Softball World Championship was an international softball competition held in Chiba, Japan, from 2 August to 12 August. It was the 16th edition of the tournament, and the third edition to be sanctioned by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Previous editions were sanctioned by the International Softball Federation, which governed the sport until its 2013 merger with the International Baseball Federation to create the WBSC. As the winners, the United States earned the right to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics. It was the last world title awarded under the championship format before the WBSC implemented the new world cup 4 year cycle.

The 2022 WBSC Men's Softball World Championship was the 17th Men's Softball World Championship, an international softball tournament taking place in Auckland, New Zealand from 26 November to 4 December 2022. Originally scheduled for February 2021, the tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New Zealand last hosted the tournament in 2013. It will be the 17th edition of the tournament.

The 2024 Women's Softball World Cup will be the 18th Women's Softball World Cup, an international softball tournament taking place in Balbriggan, Ireland; Buttrio and Castions di Strada, Italy and Valencia, Spain. The group stage will take place from 11–26 July 2023, held as three separate groups across three nations. The finals will take place in Buttrio and Castions di Strada, Italy from 15–21 July 2024. This is the first WBSC event to be held in two stages. It will be the first time Ireland, Italy and Spain have hosted a major softball tournament. It also the first time more than one nation has hosted the tournament. The United States are the defending champions.

The 2025 WBSC Men's Softball World Cup will be the 18th Men's Softball World Cup, an international softball tournament. The group stage will take place fron 12 June–21 September 2024 in Prince Albert, Canada; Sonora, Mexico; and Oklahoma City, United States. The finals will take place from 8–13 July 2025 in Prince Albert, Canada. Canada last hosted the tournament in 2017, while the United States last hosted it in 1996. Mexico haven't hosted the tournament since the inaugural edition in 1966.

The 2023 U-23 WBSC Men's Softball World Cup is the inaugural U-23 Men's Softball World Cup, an international softball tournament taking place in Paraná, Argentina from 15 to 23 April 2023. Originally scheduled for October 2022, the tournament was postponed due to a number of reasons. The bidding process was reopened and once again awarded to Paraná in Argentina.

Group A of the 2024 Women's Softball World Cup will take place from 11 to 15 July 2023 in Balbriggan, Republic of Ireland. The group consists of host nation Ireland, Chinese Taipei, United States, Great Britain, Australia and Botswana. The United States and Australia advanced to the Finals to be held in 2024, with the United States going undefeated winning all four of their games.

Group B of the 2024 Women's Softball World Cup will take place from 18 to 22 July 2023 in Valencia, Spain. The group consists of host nation Spain, China, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Netherlands and South Africa.

Group C of the 2024 Women's Softball World Cup will take place from 22 to 26 July 2023 in Castions di Strada and Buttrio, Italy. The group consists of host nation Italy, Japan, Canada, Venezuela, New Zealand and Philippines. Japan and Canada advanced to the Finals to be held in 2024. Italy also advanced to the Finals as host/wildcard.

Group A of the 2024 Women's Baseball World Cup will take place from 8 to 13 August 2023 in Thunder Bay, Canada. The group consists of host nation Canada, United States, Australia, South Korea, Hong Kong and Mexico. United States won the group qualifying for the finals along with hosts Canada. Mexico finished in third and earned a wildcard spot for the finals.

Group B of the 2024 Women's Baseball World Cup will take place from 13 to 18 September 2023 in Miyoshi, Japan. The group consists of host nation Japan, Chinese Taipei, Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico and France.

The 2024 Women's Softball World Cup Finals is a double round-robin tournament of the 2024 Women's Softball World Cup which will take place from 15 to 20 July. The top two teams from each pool qualify for the top eight finals stage along with two wildcards. The eight teams are split into two groups with the top two qualifying for the super round. After the super round the top two teams will then qualify for the final.
