Allison Kaden (born November 1, 1977) is a general assignment reporter for WPIX-TV in New York City. Kaden joined the station in 2004, after working for News 12 The Bronx. She was hit by a car on March 4, 2010,^[1] but returned six weeks later.

The News 12 Networks are a group of regional cable news television channels that are owned by Altice USA. All channels provide rolling news coverage 24-hours a day, focusing primarily on different regions of the New York City metropolitan area outside Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.

Education and training

Kaden holds a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Tulane University and in 2000, earned a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She also studied photography at American University of Paris.

Awards and nominations

Kaden was nominated for a 2005 Emmy Award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences-New York City in the category Educational Programming: Segment(s) for a piece she did for News 12 The Bronx entitled "In Depth-Waterfront" which aired on July 5, 2004.

Kaden received a Special Mention in 2005 from the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association in the category Best Spot News Coverage for a piece on WPIX entitled "Chopper Down."

In 2007, Kaden won a New York Emmy in the category Spot News Story for her part in a report entitled "East Side Explosion."

He focuses most of his reports on exposing wrongdoings and incompetence by private industry and government agencies. His reports have led to jail time for a number of scam artists.

Frances Rivera is a Filipino-American journalist and television news anchor. For ten years, until August 2011, she had been a television reporter and anchor for Boston's NBC affiliate, WHDH. Ernabel Castro Demillo is an American television journalist. She is the host and producer of CUNY TV's monthly magazine show, "Asian American Life", which debuted on June 10, 2013. The premiere show was nominated for a NY News Emmy for Best Community Affairs/Public Programming in 2014. Demillo was nominated for a New York Emmy for Best Historical/Cultural Segment for Asian American Life in 2017 for her feature "The Ties that Bind: Filipinos in New York". In 2017, she was the inaugural recipient of the Frank LoMonte Ethics in Journalism Award, which is given someone who performs “in an outstanding ethical manner demonstrating the ideals of CMA’s Code of Ethical Behavior.” Demillo was honored for fighting against her employer Saint Peter's University when they attempted to censor the Pauw Wow the student-run newspaper she advised.

Kirstin Cole has been a reporter and anchor for PIX 11 news since 2011, where she is also a discussion panelist. She worked there from 2000-2001 before spending 10 years as the consumer reporter for CBS 2. She has received awards in crime reporting working at both companies. Her work for CBS included covering restaurants who discriminated against children.
