Andrey Molchanov (born 16 July 1987) [1] is an Olympic swimmer from Turkmenistan. He competed at the 2008 Olympics, [2] where he finished 64th in the 50m freestyle.
He also swam at the 2007 World Championships.
Francis Obiorah Obikwelu, GOIH is a retired Nigerian-born Portuguese sprinter, who specialized in 100 metres and 200 metres. He was the 2004 Olympic silver medalist in the 100 metres. In the same race, he set the European record in the event at 9.86 seconds, which stood for nearly 17 years.

Tegenkamp set an American record in the outdoor two mile[PRs] and also achieved other performances that were near record breaking during his career.

The Federated States of Micronesia sent a team of five athletes to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The appearance of the delegation marked the third appearance by a Micronesian team at the Olympics since its debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Three male athletes and two female athletes comprised the Olympic team. None of the track or swimming athletes advanced past the qualification round, and Minginfel placed second to last in his event. There has yet to be a medalist from the Federated States of Micronesia. Minginfel held the Micronesian flag in the opening ceremony.
Nicholas James D'Arcy is a retired national-record holding butterfly swimmer from Australia. He was removed from Australia's 2008 Olympic team due to a violent altercation that happened shortly after the Australian Olympic Trials. He was also removed from Australia's team to the 2009 World Championships after being convicted for the same incident. In March 2012 D'arcy was selected as a team member for the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was raised in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast but currently lives in Brisbane.
He Kexin is a Chinese former artistic gymnast who competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. On 5 January 2015 he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of World No. 169, whilst his highest doubles ranking of No. 61 was reached on 30 October 2023. He also played for the Ukraine Davis Cup team.
