Arturo Marcelino DeFreites Simon (born April 26,1953) is a former professional baseball first baseman. He played parts of two seasons in Major League Baseball,1978 and 1979,for the Cincinnati Reds.
Following his major league career,DeFreites played in the Mexican League from 1980 until 1986. He was also a minor league baseball manager for the Gulf Coast League Expos in 2004 and the Dorados de Chihuahua in 2009.

Vladimir Alvino Guerrero Sr., nicknamed "Vlad the Impaler", is a Dominican former professional baseball player who spent 16 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right fielder and designated hitter. He played for the Montreal Expos (1996–2003), Anaheim Angels / Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2004–2009), Texas Rangers (2010), and Baltimore Orioles (2011).

He played for 13 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, and Chicago Cubs between 1990 and 2002. He managed the Louisville Bats in the Cincinnati Reds organization from 2012–2017. His son Delino DeShields Jr. plays for the Atlanta Braves and his daughter Diamond DeShields plays for the Dallas Wings.

A former catcher in the minor leagues, he spent all of his playing career and most of his managing career as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies' organization.
