The Buffalo Bulls women's basketball team is the women's basketball team that represents the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. The team currently competes in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. The Bulls reached their first NCAA tournament in 2016^[2] and, as of 2023, have appeared in four NCAA tournaments in total, including a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2018.^[3]^[4]

List of seasons

Through the 1996–97 season, the women’s basketball teams were known as the Royals. The name was changed to the Bulls for the 1997–98 season.^[5]

The South Florida Bulls women's basketball team represents the University of South Florida in women's basketball. The 2018 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament began on March 16, 2018, and concluded with the national championship game on Sunday, April 1. The Final Four was played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This is the third time that the women's Final Four was played in Ohio after previously being held in Cincinnati in 1997 and Cleveland in 2007 and the first time that the women's Final Four was played in Columbus. For only the fourth time in the tournament’s 37-year history, all four of the number one seeds made it to the Final Four.

The 2016–17 Buffalo Bulls men's basketball team represented the State University of New York at Buffalo during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulls, led by second-year head coach Nate Oats, played their home games at Alumni Arena as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 17–14, 11–7 in MAC play to finish in a tie for second place. As the No. 3 seed in the MAC tournament, they lost in the quarterfinals to Kent State.

The Columbia Lions women's basketball team is the intercollegiate women's basketball program representing Columbia University. The school competes in the Ivy League in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Lions play home basketball games at the Levien Gymnasium in New York, New York, on the university campus. Columbia has won two Ivy League championships. The team has been coached by Megan Griffith since 2016.

The UC Davis Aggies Women's Basketball team represent the University of California, Davis in Davis, California, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Big West Conference.

The 2018–19 Buffalo Bulls women's basketball team represents the University at Buffalo during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bulls, led by seventh-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, play their home games at Alumni Arena as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 24–10, 12–6 in MAC play to win MAC East Division. Buffalo won the MAC conference tournament championship game over Ohio, 77–61. Cierra Dillard was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. With that win they earn an automatic trip to the NCAA women's tournament where they upset Rutgers in the first round before losing to Connecticut in the second round.
