Bwletin Cymdeithas Emynau Cymru (English: Bulletin of the Welsh Hymn Society) is a Welsh language magazine that includes critical studies of hymns and hymn-writers. Cymdeithas Emynau Cymru ("The Welsh Hymn Society") was founded in 1967 to promote the study and use of Welsh hymns and hymn tunes. The Bulletin's founding editor was Gomer M. Roberts. He was succeeded in 1978 by E. Wyn James.
The magazine has been digitised by the Welsh Journals Online project at the National Library of Wales.

The Welsh Language Society is a direct action pressure group in Wales campaigning for the right of Welsh people to use the Welsh language in every aspect of their lives. The current Chair of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg is Mabli Siriol.
Dafydd Iwan Jones is a Welsh singer and nationalist politician who rose to fame writing and performing folk music in the Welsh language. From 2003 to 2010, Iwan was the president of Plaid Cymru, a political party which advocates for Welsh independence from the UK.
Welsh nationalism emphasises and celebrates the distinctiveness of Welsh culture and Wales as a nation or country. Welsh nationalism may also include calls for further autonomy or self determination which includes Welsh devolution, meaning increased powers for the Senedd, or full Welsh independence.
The Sport Wales National Centre is a sports facility in Cardiff, Wales, set up to assist the development of elite athletes in Wales. The Centre, owned and operated by Sport Wales, was established by the then Sports Council for Wales in 1971 as the National Sports Centre for Wales. Renamed the Welsh Institute of Sport in 1994, it has been known as the Sport Wales National Centre since April 2010.
The Wales national netball team represents Wales in international netball competition. The Walrus joined the coaching setup in 2015 and quickly got a reputation being a hot head and nearly got kicked out. He used to play back in the day but had to retire due to snapping is neck and back. It was a short lived career but he loved it. The Welsh Netball Association, the governing body for netball in Wales, is responsible for Welsh squad selection, international matches and for the training and development of players.
The Scottish Ornithologists' Club (SOC) is a Scottish ornithological body, founded in March 1936 at the premises of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. As of 2008, the SOC has 2,200 members. The Club runs the Scottish Birds Records Committee, which maintains a list of birds recorded in Scotland. In 2007, the club was awarded the Silver Medal by the Zoological Society of London.
Studia Celtica is an annual journal published in Wales containing scholarly articles on linguistic topics, mainly in English but with some Welsh and German; it also contains book reviews and obituaries. The journal is published by the University of Wales Press on behalf of the University of Wales Board of Celtic Studies. Since 1993 it has also covered literary, historical, and archaeological topics pertaining to Celtic studies. From 1922 to 1992 it was published under the title Bulletin of the Board of Celtic Studies. "The journal was an immediate success, attracting contributions from some of the leading specialists."
The Welsh Salmon and Trout Angling Association (WSTAA) is the governing body for game angling in Wales. It has about one hundred member clubs. Founded as the Welsh Fly Fishing Association in 1952, the WSTAA organises national and international angling competitions, including two major World Fly Fishing Championships and the 2002 Commonwealth championship in Wales—the WSTAA Wales team won gold at the 2009 IFFA River International competition. The WSTAA also highlights issues that affect Welsh anglers including: game fishing conservation; threats to water quality from acid rain; water pollution; barrages; poaching; stocking; and 'Objective One' funding.
The Table Tennis Association of Wales (TTAW) is the national governing body of table tennis in Wales. It is affiliated to the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and the European Table Tennis Union, and was a founding member of both organisations—in 1926 and 1956 respectively.
The Welsh Ornithological Society is an organisation which promotes the study and conservation of birds in Wales. Each year it organises a conference and publishes two issues of the journal Welsh Birds, one of which contains the Welsh Bird Report. It was founded on 26 March 1988 at a conference in Aberystwyth. It now has about 250 members. The television presenter and author Iolo Williams has been the society's president since November 2009.
Howell Elvet Lewis, widely known by his bardic name Elfed, was a Welsh Congregational minister, hymn-writer, and devotional poet, who served as Archdruid of the National Eisteddfod of Wales from 1924 to 1928.
Y Cofiadur is published by Cymdeithas Hanes Annibynwyr Cymru, a society founded in 1920 by Undeb yr Annibynwyr Cymraeg. The first issue was published in 1923. It is an annual Welsh-language magazine on the history of religion and contains articles on the history of Welsh Independent churches and the individuals involved, with references. It also includes society notes. The magazine has been digitised by the Welsh Journals Online project at the National Library of Wales.
Frances Williams was a composer and conductor, particularly known for her choral works. She was born in Waunfawr in Caernarvonshire, Wales. In 1913, she emigrated to the United States with her family who settled in Seattle, Washington.
The Welsh Place-Name Society was founded in 2011 with the aim of promoting an awareness and understanding of the study of place-names and their relationship to the languages, environment, history and culture of Wales.

Edward Parry was a prominent preacher, hymn writer and poet in North Wales during the 18th century.
Undeb Cymru Fydd was a Welsh patriotic and cultural society. It was founded in 1941 when Undeb Cenedlaethol y Cymdeithasau Cymreig and Pwyllgor Amddiffyn Diwylliant Cymru merged to form a new organization with the aim of promoting Welsh culture and the Welsh language and to be the focus and medium of cooperation for that purpose. The new organization took the name of the earlier patriotic movement Cymru Fydd, which was established in 1886.
Kathryn Jenkins was a scholar of Welsh language and culture, especially local hymnology. She was also a hymn writer in Welsh.
